Ayr Tartan Army - Somerset Park To Hampden 8Th Oct

Recommended Posts

Folks

Apologise for posting this on your forum but this affects every football club in Scotland.

On the 8th Oct the Ayr Tartan Army will walk from Somerset Park to Hampden Park for the Scotland v Poland game in memory of the late Ally MacLeod and to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer's Scotland Football memories project.

This pioneering project helps fans suffering from dementia have some quality interaction with others when they talk about players and games from years ago. This is done through groups and we need to expand this network across the length and breadth of Scotland. From Stornoway to Stranraer.

We are asking fans to donate the price of a pint, the price of a match programme or what ever they think is affordable for this great cause.

To donate you can visit www.allymacleod.co.uk to make your donation online or by text.

Any corporate company who wants to donate will get their logo on the website.

Every donation will be entered into a raffle to win prizes that have been donated to us.
There is also an online auction on the Ally MacLeod facebook page which will include golfing days out and the chance to sail on ex Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bons yacht DRUM.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck for the rest of the season.

Douglas Harper

Is thi

I'm all for charity, but the Tartan Army can go and take two fucks to themselves. Still all the best with the charity.

Agree. I take it this is the same tartan army that quite openly show their hatred of Rangers and all things British yet show solidarity as football fans because they now want the Rangers coin.

The charity is a worthwhile cause but our club and support should have SFA to do with these numpties.

How much has the Tartan Army donated to Erskine?

Take your tartan army and walk into the sea and give us all a break from freaks who flash at any and every cunt while pished.

Now imagine Rangers fans doing that? I wonder if the nation would and press would find it funny then?

Like the rest I am all for charity but fuck that lot.

Will you be singing Rule Brittania and God save the queen by any chance? Didn't think so

A worthy cause. As you'll have seen, the Tartan Army are not exactly flavour of the month on here (they're not with me either), but some things transcend those kinds of rivalries.

Believe it or not, we're not all quite so bitter that we can't see that. Best of luck, squire.

Jihadi John could finger your Maw against her will and you wouldn't feel bitter about it

Whereas you could see some people doing stuff to make much needed money for a really good charity and still not be able to get over your bitterness!

Oh, wait...

Correct.

At least I am transparent and honest and believe in some things - not every cunt is great.

You're admitting you're a cunt and you're not great?

Well, turns out you are indeed transparent and honest. Kudos, mate.

Yup that's exactly what I'm admitting. Feels good to be honest with yourself ;)

Oh, indeed. It'd be boring, and probably not very honest, if we were all the same when we were being honest.
