Clyde Valley 234
Just a feeling. I think they will sack him.Absolutely nothing to lose by doing so. If Ashley is going to put funds up he wont trust McCoists judgement. There is no way Ally will beat the taigs with his tactics. Our other two cup games are anything but a formality for us.As for replacing him, I think they will think about that after he has gone. No need to panic as Lewis Macleod could probably organise the team better.

ritchieshearercaldow 22,137
No need to sack him. Just tell him to dig the gardenAnd get his mates to help him

Clyde Valley 234
No need to sack him. Just tell him to dig the gardenAnd get his mates to help himCould be something like that but he will be effectively bagged. When you cant trust him to make a logical substitution how can you trust him to sign a player for cash. Its the logical thing to do as the revenue stream will decline the longer he stays. Clyde Valley 234
Except just the small matter of 1.5 million pound, and that dick knows it. Ashley can cover that mate.Give him gardening leave and make his pay-off in instalments with a clause he cannot take on any other form of employment. While joking about Macleod I would let Kenny Miller run the team to the end of the season if he was prepared to do it. He would stay and not give a feck until his last payment was made.
SteveJ 743
Except just the small matter of 1.5 million pound, and that dick knows it. If the tales of £10m coming in January, I would suggest Ashley puts £1.5m of that in now and gets rid. The new manager can have £8.5m and I bet he finds some gems with that. ChrisVanDarche 23
I'd give it to McCulloch for the next few games - think he's done his badges?
Clyde Valley 234
I'd give it to McCulloch for the next few games - think he's done his badges?I don't think McCulloch shows leadership qualities on the park so feel that would be a further step backwards. AlCapone 7,678
Except just the small matter of 1.5 million pound, and that dick knows it. Won't cost us anywhere near that, half that max
AlCapone 7,678
Mccoist has no alies in the boardroom and the board will act when they know they can get away with it without causing civil war, they have been biding their time and now have their ducks lined up. Will happen soon and swiftly
Jimfanciesthedude 24,540
wouldn't trust that lot to dig the garden.imagine giving they 3 a shovel, they'd stand with their arms folded for 75minutes before taking the shovel and trying to dig up the patio stones with it
King Jela 20,361
Won't cost us anywhere near that, half that maxEven still. £750,000 to get rid of a guy that's dragged us down literally from day one is scandalous.
gogzy 31,195
It's at the point where it's costing us more to keep him tbh.We could probably get 8-10k per game back through the doors if we changed the management IMO, thats about 200k per game, 8 home games and sacking Ally pays for itself. sassaaaa 11,406
No players in that squad should be anywhere near the managers job , no more jobs for the boys.We need fresh new faces with new ideas.
Big Al 55 9,248
Get rid, spend a few quid on some new players, assuming Ashley does indeed want to invest. It will add 10k to the gate, the fans will be excited for the first time in 3 years.
