I think this is good news for us, they've been in freefall and look like an easier prospect than Hibs and QOS. They concede easily and will be easier for us than County who are more physical and compete for everything. We struggle to break teams down at times but Motherwell are very open. We really need to drive our slim advantage home and finish second. Those extra two matches for Hibs and QOS could be important. I would expect a close tie and the winner would come out tired and maybe with a suspension or two. I wouldn't say it's a certainty that Hibs beat QOS over two legs. All their wins against us this season have been lucky. Our team is more confident under SMcC and I honestly believe had we had the right person in the job at the beginning they wouldn't have won any of their games against us.My first choice would have been Kilmarnock for the playoffs but I think we'll have a good chance against Motherwell so I would be happy with that. If we don't go up then as I said before, look out for the league reconstruction debate starting...but not from us. They only want the blue £ and sponsor.
