blunosecol 8
They seem to be in free fall at the moment, if they go down I feel like Vuckic is more than good enough for the championship as he's shown in the past. As much as I'd like to see Ashley fail that might be too big a draw for Harris. Thoughts on if he'd chhose us or Newcastle?
LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
Doesn't get to choose between us or Newcastle. He's under contract so if Newcastle want him he stays.
Mr RFC 696
He won't get near a Newcastle team.
Broxi 11,473
I agree it's probably better for us if Newcastle stay up with regards to Vuckic
Broxi 11,473
Probably, but they may be inclined to keep him as a squad player in the Championship.
Paulie Walnuts 1,061
If they go down there will be a player exodus with Sissoko De Jong Riviere etc all wanting to leave after seeing Vuckic perfrorm well for us I reckon they will keep him see how he does down there. That's if they go down which I don't think they will.
Guest
Keevins has just said a small group were booing Jig whenever he got the ball after 0-2, then other fans started applauding him every time he got the ball. How can anyone think Jig deserves praise? siamthedanger 2,847
Worst form in the EPL just now, there is only a few points between them and 18th place, they are living very very dangerously. Vuckic would probably get a game for them if they were to go in to the championship.
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,622
Worst game since he's been here imo
blunosecol 8
I know he's under contract still but he's said he'd like to stay. If they go down I'm sure they'd cut the wage bill and I reckon he could perform well in the championship, so they may be more inclined to keep him
Chineseboy 1,563
Newcastle won't go down.A few weeks ago I would have agreed. Not now, they have been dragged into it, and a big game coming up against leicester.
Prso's headband 35,348
If Newcastle go down I imagine there would be a exodus of players and I think squad players and youngsters like Vuckic would be in the team instantly. I can't see Ashley throwing millions at it to go back up because if they fail having thrown millions at it they could be looking at the championship for a few years to come. Mr RFC 696
I like him but he dosen't do enought to influence games in the Scottish second division never mind the English one. He's still done well for us.
A Gallant Pioneer 555
He isn't good enough for Newcastle and i have my doubts about whether he is good enough for us going forward as well. It's one thing turning it on now and again on a sunny afternoon at Ibrox in the 2nd division, it's another playing on a cold, wet Wednesday night at Parkhead under the floodlights going for the SPFL title. JWAC 2,234
I may be going against the grain here but I don't think he's all that. He doesn't have any pace whatsoever. He does have better skill than most (everyone?) in the team but all his goals have been the same, cutting inside from the right and curling to the far corner with his left. If we go up he'll need to improve if he's still here as it's easy to nullify that move

(Especially as he's not getting all that much back-up from anybody else).

FFS even DJ niticed that.

He needs benched permanently if we are to have any chance in getting promoted and securing Vuckic.
gersandy 594
He only played a few games on loan at Cardiff, he then flattered to decieve for Rotherham in league 1. TBH i think hes a good player for the scottish league and has maybe found his level. Doesnt say alot for football north of the border.
eejay the dj 31,964
He is decent but because we are so completely shite ,he is getting some amount of over board praise on here at times .We need a complete defence without worrying to much about a guy we probably can't afford to keep
