Newcastle Relegation And Vuckic

They seem to be in free fall at the moment, if they go down I feel like Vuckic is more than good enough for the championship as he's shown in the past. As much as I'd like to see Ashley fail that might be too big a draw for Harris. Thoughts on if he'd chhose us or Newcastle?

Keevins has just said a small group were booing Jig whenever he got the ball after 0-2, then other fans started applauding him every time he got the ball.

How can anyone think Jig deserves praise?

I know he's under contract still but he's said he'd like to stay. If they go down I'm sure they'd cut the wage bill and I reckon he could perform well in the championship, so they may be more inclined to keep him

If Newcastle go down I imagine there would be a exodus of players and I think squad players and youngsters like Vuckic would be in the team instantly. I can't see Ashley throwing millions at it to go back up because if they fail having thrown millions at it they could be looking at the championship for a few years to come.

He isn't good enough for Newcastle and i have my doubts about whether he is good enough for us going forward as well. It's one thing turning it on now and again on a sunny afternoon at Ibrox in the 2nd division, it's another playing on a cold, wet Wednesday night at Parkhead under the floodlights going for the SPFL title.

I may be going against the grain here but I don't think he's all that. He doesn't have any pace whatsoever.

He does have better skill than most (everyone?) in the team but all his goals have been the same, cutting inside from the right and curling to the far corner with his left. If we go up he'll need to improve if he's still here as it's easy to nullify that move

It does cross my mind that, if he's not scoring, he's not doing a lot - good job he keeps on scoring! (Especially as he's not getting all that much back-up from anybody else).

What a load of shite, seen him run 50yds to tackle a player and if he is on the left he covers if Wallace pushes forward and does likewise with Mcgregor on the right hand side. FFS even DJ niticed that.

The way things are going we will be lucky to afford his second cousin.

It can only happen if we get promoted. Jig is the main protagonist in us not getting there. He needs benched permanently if we are to have any chance in getting promoted and securing Vuckic.

He only played a few games on loan at Cardiff, he then flattered to decieve for Rotherham in league 1. TBH i think hes a good player for the scottish league and has maybe found his level.

Doesnt say alot for football north of the border.

Not shite at all - I too saw him run back and make a good block yesterday, but he does that sort of thing occasionally, not consistently.
