He's doing exactly as was anticipated; nothing.

He will be released by Preston when his contract expires, drop down another level before eventually drifting out of football.

Releasing Little was the best decision McCoist made as Rangers manager.

If you want to know how much someone actually 'gets' or understands football, as them if they rate Andy Little.

That's a difficult ask, but he absolutely is worse. He's better than Mohsni, actually. I'll give you that.

A few goals against binmen and postmen who had been working 9AM-5PM that week made sections of our support oblivious to his absolute lack of footballing ability and intelligence.

His performance against Celtic at Parkhead, the one after administration when they beat us three-nil, was probably the most out-of-his-depth I've ever seen a player in my life.

He was out of contract that summer, after a few unspectacular loan spells, and would have been flipping burgers had we not been relegated and had to retain his service.

Him and Perry were never going to be good enough; better, younger and more ambitious players progressed to the first team and moved on before they got a sniff.

He was sitting next to me in Hampden during the Old Firm game. I was asking how he was getting on at Preston and that. Told me he wasn't playing much. I don't even know if he's scored for them.

He was there with Ross Perry that day. Perry didn't even have a club. Think he's at Northampton now. Both of them were at Rangers too long, IMO.

If we weren't demoted to Third Division, Little would never have been retained. He was a very average player who made a good striker when played against part-time boys who worked day jobs. In the SPL, he looked out of his depth. Especially in important games. Same with Perry too, really.

Its great how all these players that were let go were according to some only good against part time teams of brickies etc.Funny how the so called better players that were brought in to replace them still got fucked out the petrofac cup by yes you guessed it a part time team full of brickies etc. Most of those guys like little who were let go aren't any worse than the shit that replaced them and who are on far greater wages and who are still getting plenty for being shit at the club right now.
