He's held the position as president of the AFA for decades and his style is to let the contract of the man in charge wind down. But surely he must be weighing up his options with Alfio Basile now. Is it one win in six for Argentina in WC qualifying now? That's simply not good enough. If i was in Grondona's shoes, i'd get Sergio Batista in post-haste.
