    • celtic have dominated this league for the past few years off the back of a team full of Asian players. The only Scottish player of note they have is McGregor and at times Taylor. We have more Scots in our team and starting for us than they do.  I really don't think nationality has anything to do with our issues.
    • Maybe so, but we did beat betis at a ground where they hadn’t lost domestically this year until we played them. There is ability in our squad but we’ve gone for the type of player who has fallen from grace and we try to get them back to their best. It’s why you see glimpses of great play but it’s never the norm.
    • Whos said this though ?  Everycunt knows the players should be taking the vast majority of criticism and i would say most agree on what players need to go etc , but when he is getting stuff wrong then he should be getting criticism too thats only being fair , that doesnt mean ppl think hes a dud or needs chased or that we shouldnt back him
    • Scottish players generally do seem to have quite a good work ethic because they are more limited on a technical side, it’s just the way our game is. It’s why our league is fast paced and physical compared to the likes of Italy or Holland, it’s why Lammers has broken a scoring record since January but was utter mince here. We definitely have to be more open minded to signing players like Lewis Ferguson but preferably before he moved to the sheep as he would have been cheaper. The big problem is we don’t do well developing players like this as they never seem to get a good run of games to develop as they would at other clubs because they have les riding on each game whereas our support demand we win every match.
    • That first bit for me is a continuing problem for us. I get injuries have played a part this season in people having to do jobs possibly outside of their preferred position. But I feel like we constantly sign players and end up shifting them from their natural position, then wonder why they arnt performing.
