I'd offer him a pre-contract if the wages are right, he's a good CB who would add value to our club on and off the park, at 20 year old he still has a lot to learn and there's no better place to learn with the right staff here, the best of training facilities, playing in front of 45k most games.

Ball and big Rob are a solid partnership and will only get better through time, i've been really pleased with what i've seen so far from both of them.

He's the best central midfielder we have available for 1st team selection at the moment (and that's not being disrespectful to Kiernan and Wilson) He does the simple things with confidence and he is quick.

He actually reminds me a bit of Richard Gough at the same age when he was at Dundee Utd and could virtually play anywhere in that back line and midfield.

I'm not sure if Spurs are willing to let him go, but I would love to see him at Ibrox permanently :pipe:

No mate,I'm serious! He is first and foremost a defender in general and a central midfielder in particular, but if it came to the crunch he could slot in at midfield in an emergency if called upon, so therefore he fits the Warburton mould of a player who can cover several positions if required. (which hopefully never eventuates)

The kid is only 20 years old and has a great future ahead of him. Sure he has got a big learning curve ahead of him, but I'm very confident he will go on to bigger and better things. :pipe:

Spuds may not want him to leave.

In the past few seasons they have been bringing a few youngsters into the first team like Kane and Mason while before that Townsend, Walker and Rose.

Hopefully at worst we get him for another loan spell if they do want to keep him.

I doubt they would put a player out on loan in the last year of his deal if they weren't interested in keeping him.

A young player like that isn't stretching a club like Spurs budget so even if they don't think he will make it with them they will probably give him another deal just so they can loan him out again, put him in the shop window and then sell him on.

I think he'll be here next season, but I think it will be on loan again.
