Game by game?

Well that's another home game gone by in the lovely West of Scotland sunshine of late August. So where were the "game by game" mob. It was a smokescreen for not renewing. Those that said they would attend "game by game", call yourselves what you want, just don't call yourselves "Rangers men".

I like to walk round the stadium before the game (don't ask). There was quite a few buying ticket when I went past the ticket office. Crowd did look slightly down even on last week right enough. What was the attendance today, 30000 maybe?

Hope they never get a season ticket again, YET most of them will be clamouring for a ticket next time we play the scum at home. NO ticket unless you have at least a 60% attendance at home games before then.

Super fan alert!

Who are you to slate others for deciding to take a stance against the board. Their actions may not help, but at least they are doing what they think is right to help the club and get rid of the leaches!

Some think you have to blindly pay your money to be a true supported. Bollocks!

A true supporter doesn't deliberately starve the club

A true supporter doesn't deliberately starve the club

The only people they are starving is the shareholders. The outcome isn't going to change, it will just happen quicker with less money from supporters.

The board signed a player and then 5 minutes later said that we need to raise £4m. They are wanting us to default on the loans, having 50,000 each home game isn't going to change that.

Whos to say we'd have 50000 each week if we were still in the Premiership?

Maybe the fact that were getting 30000 is just a sign of the times. Celtic cant full the piggery nowadays, closing stands. Up and down the country theres empty seats.

People are cutting back on everything. Theres less disposable income now. I suspect its just that some people cant afford to come at the moment.

You are correct, their actions do not help.

If we were to draw "them" in a cup this year, those who have renewed should get first dibs on some of the remainder of the tickets.

Easily, season ticket holders should be allowed to purchase an extra one or two tickets each then rangers membership owners then public. Im sure we did this for the Scottish cup game (ST holders extra tickets)

Those who could have bought a ST and chose not are self declared ST boycotters. Their reasons for choosing not to buy when they could buy are, imo, not in the best interests of Rangers and, imo, their passivity on this is actively working against Rangers in this vital season.

Of the ST boycotters those who have decided not to buy a ticket on a match by match basis are in effect boycotting the Club and whether they have the right to still call themselves loyal supporters is, imo, more than questionable. Their actions in not buying inflict financial harm on the Club and harm to the team trying to win promption and that cannot be the act of a loyal supporter. They don't like the Board and they don't like what the see on the pitch - both responses harm Rangers. That is the nose and tail of it.

Their loyalty seems to me to lie in a Rangers that exists in their imagination or in their recollection of past glories or on a wildcard bet that some form of financial rescuer will appear with saddlbags full of dosh to sweep away the current regime (Directors, Manager and Coaches) and with a liberal sprinkling of dosh the good old days will return as if my magic. The notion of the Company and the Club actually having to work its ticket back to the top flight seems to me to be set aside by the boycotters. Their perference is to play at financial and boardroom voyeurs - self made and self appointed experts and spokespersons. Good at criticism and good at destruction and thats about all.

It is a very great pity that just over 31000 could attend Ibrox yesterday. For the second week in a row the attendance was massively lower than many of the Ibrox attendances in last 2 season. The absent ones - those who could have attended - are showing quite clearly that they are not loyal Rangers supporters. They are effectively saying that if we do not win promotion this season then that's ok and if we have to downsize even further with Nash making even deeper cuts then that's ok and if we have to then spend years in the Championship trying to somehow rebuild from a low supporter base and unable to attract the quality of player who can make a difference then that's ok, and if we remain a mediocre or less than mediocre club watching top title after top title being handed on an uncontested basis to the other lot then that's ok. Because these are among the possible consequences of continued self-harm by Supporters who were once loyal.

They are lying gloryhunting blue tims who no doubt still tell their pals how staunch they are and how theyve been going to games for 30 years, guaranteed they'll be there for hibs and hearts and when we're back playing the tims.

I love the idea of banning people who don't got to games. We should keep attendances at 30,000 and turn down revenue in the future?

We should ban fans encouraging others to boycott and those slandering the club. A man not renewing is his own business, but a man that doesnt renew then tries to convince others to abandon the club is a cunt and not a true fan IMO.
