He must have had 3 decent chances and 2 excellent chances against Alloa and fluffed every one. He missed a chance similar to the one of the goals vukic scored yesterday. KB is overweight, unfit and slow, he's got six games to save what's left of his playing career, it will almost certainly not be at Ibrox!You can also add Simonsen, McCulloch, Foster, Faure, Hutton, Mohsni, Shiels, Smith, Daly and Black! Boyd doesnt graft anywhere near as much as we'd need him to.Can only see him coming on as a sub, if we're struggling and need to change it. And rightly so imo. No coincidence that Shiels, Vuckic, Walsh, Temps, Wallace, Clarke, McGregor and Miller are all performing better and most of them are in the team at the same time. McCall's idea of a Rangers team seems to have certain qualities that an immobile Boyd who had never been good at link up play just doesn't fit. McCall said he would utilise the squad to see what best fits and over last 3 games that's Miller and Clark, u can't say vuckic, not a striker but great attacking mid with goals to his game. Ckark has 3 in 3 and Miller has got a goal but his work rate and link up is improving. So until either goes backwards, Boyd will be benched. Probably wishful thinking but I have sympathy for him because imo he has probably tried too hard at times and the pressure has been too much for him.
