tannerall 25,935
Great players who you liked, and were fortunate enough to see playing against us at Ibrox, and have been kind of forgotten since.Franco Causio, world cup winner. Was a hero of mine back in the seventies.Saw him when we beat the Italian National Team Juventus 2-0 at Ibrox to overturn a 1-0 defeat in Turin. Inigo 32,526
Forgotten, in the sense that they're not that well known now, or that we've forgotten they played against us?

Inigo 32,526
I remember him, well I don't remember since I don't think I was born when he played but I know of him.Very good player, but not a great player. Did his bit for us but maybe didn't ever really show us what we thought he was going to be capable of.
tannerall 25,935
Oops, thread way off track. Have edited first post.I meant non-Rangers players (especially foreign) who you liked at the time, and were fortunate to see in the flesh at Ibrox, and have been kind of forgotten. Here's anotherhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCUTwOqJeVo

Inigo 32,526
Pretty tough, that. Best I can come up with is Georgi Hagi, Steaua in 1988.At the very start of this vid... 'priced at £2 Million.' and 'all the Italian clubs are after him' (as opposed to the English ones it would be nowadays!).BARGAIN!! Smashing, classy player! TBagalag 721
Claudio Lopez, he was a quality player who is largely forgotten. I thought he was excellent against us when Valencia beat us 2-1 at Ibrox. If I remember correctly it was him and Mendieta that got the goals for them that night. Inigo 32,526
Robert Prosinecki, amongst others. I was there to see us expectedly bow out against an excellent Red Star team. Great goal from Darko Pancev at 21 minutes or so.
