BLUEDIGNITY 33,638
We've already won, before a ball is even kicked.... Just by turning up on Sunday, we have won. Not necessarily over the 90 minutes, or even on penalties for that matter, but just in general. Our very existence is the proof of victory.Alright, we are in a shabby state to say the least. The team is mince, the board are a shambles, the support is riddled with blazer chasing egotists only too happy to go on tv and talk pish, but we are still here. After everything we've had to endure since Craig Shyte, David Murrays stooge, appeared at the front doors of Ibrox reading from his piece of paper, we are about to face the bheast once again and the rank & file bheast is absolutely raging at the audacity of us not being dead. The anger and pain of the bheast has been evident for the intervening 3 years, as it has continued to obsess about Rangers, despite the bheast really having bigger fish to fry in the way of European football and suchlike. Such is the way of the bheast. It exists to chase Rangers, and gets confused when the chase is interrupted.Sunday is the bheasts worst nightmare. The bheast cannot win. It has spent 3 years celebrating the death of the club it faces, yet the world and his wife have told the bheast that it is wrong. Wrong, wrong wrong. Three thousand pounds worth of a full page of wrong. So for all that transpires on the pitch on Sunday, and for the record I have £50 on a Rangers victory just as I always do when we face the bheast, the bottom line is that Rangers have already won. Sometimes I think we are too busy fighting amongst ourselves to remember what our enemies tried to do to us. Raise your glasses to victory my friends. WE are Rangers !With thanks to an old friend. Tontospal 1,116
I agree with the sentiments of the op and tomorrow the football is secondary to our support showing their defiance and creating the best ever atmosphere from a Rangers support. However we should never lose sight of the fact that we should never have been in a 'war' in the first place and those responsible must one day be brought to justice. norgerpd 280
Exactly.Hopefully, after the dust has settled on Sunday, every Gers fan has been reminded that our enemies wear different colours(and I'm not even including the AC Milan style ones in this!!) and that the biggest enemy of all are the immigrants from the east of Glasgow.Sunday MUST unite us!
