Celtic FC have been fined €50,000 by UEFA for the improper conduct of their supporters at last week's UEFA Champions League Group E match against Manchester United FC in Glasgow.

Appeal deadline

The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body handed down the fine to the Scottish club in relation to a pitch invasion by a spectator and a late kick-off at the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw. An appeal may be lodged within three days of receipt of the grounds for the decision.

This will be on top of the additional £12,500 due to be paid due to breach of conditions set against previous fine i believe.

It won't be the last time that they fail to control their fans thats for sure. If it continues they really should have games played behind closed doors. Sooner or later someone really will get hurt and not just a ref with a coin chucked at him.
