Just looked up the Oxford English Dictionary definition of the adjective Bigoted "having or revealing an obstinate belief in the superiority of one’s own opinions and a prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others"  There is no mention of religion.
And for the noun Bigotry it is defined as "intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself" again no mention of religion.

I guess that makes the mhanky mhob all bigots as they hold differing opinions from me.

So in case they didn't hear it, tell them again Charlie.
