Get Your Official Programme
Written by Neil Smith

THE 2012/13 season will go down in Rangers' history with Ally McCoist’s side competing in the Third Division for the first time while also targeting success in the Ramsdens Cup, League Cup and Scottish Cup.

The first home game of this epic adventure will be played on Tuesday night when East Fife are the visitors in the first round of the League Cup so make sure you get your copy of the official matchday programme before the game.

The 2012/13 matchday programmes are sure to become hugely collectable and the East Fife programme is packed with exclusive interviews and features.

Chairman Malcolm Murray and Ally McCoist give their thoughts ahead of the game and we have a great interview with Northern Irish star Andy Little who discusses his hopes and ambitions for the season ahead.

On top of that Fifers’ boss Gordon ‘Jukebox’ Durie admits he can’t wait to go head-to-head with his former Rangers and Scotland teammate Ally McCoist and that he is always thrilled to return to Ibrox after his seven-year stint with the Light Blues.

With several Murray Park starlets making the jump up to the first team this season we’ve asked Ian Durrant to provide the lowdown on six of the club’s rising stars with several expected to feature at Ibrox on Tuesday night.

And we take a look back at East Fife’s rich history and their golden era in the 40s and 50s when former Gers boss Scot Symon and Ibrox great Jerry Dawson made the Methil club a major force in the Scottish game.

If that is not enough we highlight some of the major events that took place on August 7 in our ‘On This Day’ feature, Andy Cameron gives his light-hearted views on all things Rangers, there is a quiz to test your football knowledge and a Kids’ Zone – which includes a wordsearch and spot the difference - for our young fans to enjoy.

So make sure you get Tuesday night's matchday programme - priced just £3.
