JMac_88 310
Professional coaches from Rangers FC were at Blairmount Park, Newton Stewart on Monday and Tuesday this week as part of the club’s ‘Soccer School Roadshow’ programme.Old Firm backroom staff were kept very busy at Newton Stewart’s 3G pitch at the two-day event, jointly hosted by Galloway Thistle Youth Football Club and Newton Stewart FC, with approximately 50 kids between the ages of eight and 15 to taking part.David Stewart, who runs the Rangers Roadshow programme said: “The objectives of the roadshows are to take the club in areas where we don’t have a regular presence to encourage children all over the country to become part of the club, although we welcome children that are supporters of any club.“We hope to make this an annual event in Newton Stewart.http://www.gallowayg...ccess-1-3376814
