BBC "In many respects, Celtic's operation is the model for other clubs to follow." Then you read the report. Group revenue down 21% Merchantandise turnover decreased £1.84M Loss £4M Revenue from football and stadium operations decreased by £0.3M They managed to decrease their operating expenses to cover a lot of these decreases and losses but you can't cut your way to prosperity. Yet the BBC say it's a model despite posting a profit last year of £11M. That's a £15million shift to the red in 12 months. They are loosing money faster than we are.

Just want us to concentrate on our own team and no predictions on how this seasons ends - has to stop now Hate over confidence it is a sure result that it comes back with a negative result What happened last season should be a shut up to the dreamers - promotion is earned by winning at your worst and having the hunger to win for the club We have to earn the oportunity and take it by winning and doing it every week to win this league and players to show that they are up to it .

    • Was reading on a Leeds Utd forum that Roofe is best as being played through the middle.
    • I think Gerrard & Beale are being very smart here and they're doing a very good job for the difficult job they've been given. Their philosophy seems to be to have lots of positions carrying a goal threat without relying on one player, this is great because it breeds friendly competition, confuses the opposition because they don't know who they're better off marking, and prevents goals drying up due to one player being injured or off form. In addition, they're getting good players in who are highly flexible and can be used in a variety of positions meaning we have more of a choice where to slot in a weaker player or shuffle the pack to prevent weakness if a first pick is unavailable for whatever reason. Roof can play anywhere up front, so in the scenario of Hagi getting injured and Roofe is playing CF, does Roofe move over to where Hagi was playing with the Itten coming on to play CF? Choice is ours. Our management team's philosophy seems to be if we can't buy quality for every position we want, then we'll buy flexibility in quality to enable us to direct it where we want it.
