    Comparisons With Last Season

Where to begin? We’ve earned over £20 million from Europe this season compared to last season where we had one home match and had our arses handed to us by Luxembourgish part timers. Just from watching games with my own eyes, the football we're playing under Gerrard is in the main, miles ahead of the previous two managers. It says a lot that Sean Goss, who was a first-teamer last season, is now out on loan at St. Johnstone. We lost ten league games last season and conceded over 50 goals. We threw away a lead against celtic at Ibrox and after that gave up on the season, which later saw us get pumped 4-0 in a semi final and 5-0 in a league game. That was embarrassing. I could go on. This season, although somewhat disappointing, is far from embarrassing. I really struggle to take anyone seriously that tries to compare this season to last in all honestly, it's night and day.

    When Holly met Broxi

By popular request, BROXI made a special appearance at Hollybush House on Thursday, where Staff and Residents were delighted to meet him. He got a taste of the Combat Stress Treatment Regime, which largely involves a bit of wrestling and a bit of tickling. We're certainly making him work for his keep. Next week, he'll be crossing paws with a Good Few of You Bears at the John Greig Statue (Saturday 16/03/19 - 2pm to 2:45pm) And depending on Tuesday night, he may have another appearance or two in him yet. Anyone who would like to support RangersMedia's BROXI - maybe with a song, maybe with a couple of quid, feel free to PM me. @Bears r us - anything to add?

What banner was that? Any way, maybe petty but I’ve just e-mailed Dundee University to complain about spence. I’m just fed up with being the beaten cur of scottish football. I am writing to complain in the strongest terms about a post made on Twitter by Jim Spence which makes light of an act of violence at a football match in Scotland. I quote “Young Mr Tavernier’s situation last night reminded me of my chum’s unfortunate incident at B&Q, when the assistant asked him if he wanted decking. Fortunately my chum got the first punch in, but it just shows you can never be too careful “ The incident I refer to was on Friday evening. A fan of Hibernian entered the field of play and attempted to assault one of the Rangers footballers. This could have been so much more serious, and given the current focus on fan behaviour it is extremely unbecoming to say the least that Dundee Universities’ Rector is using social media to joke about these incidents. As I write, I hear that there has been another similar violent incident at a match in England. This just demonstrates the importance of everyone in the public eye condemning all these acts and not saying anything that could be misinterpreted as trivialising or accepting this behaviour.

Do club spokesmen only work 9 till 5 Mon to Fri or does an attack on the Club Captain not merit some sort of statement at the weekend. Astonished Loyal. PS - that Scottish government not saying too much either, no hummer useless or eva braun tweeting their support or their disgust at the treatment of a Rangers player !

If the BBC's decision to describe the situation as a fan merely 'confronting' Tav wasnt bad enough, the video they keep using very conveniently starts with Tav pushing the junkie cunt, completely skipping the part where he's jumped the boards and kicked Tav and the ball. Reprehensible cunts and they need called out for it.

If this was a scum player, it would be front page... Sectarian attack on *****c player... No one does sectarian attacks on us, as we are simply the only group as seen to be sectarian such is the narrative and to good effect. We will always be cast as the villains of the piece as the mould is set. The political landscape now only reinforces that we remain such. The only way to change it is to break the mould, but that has to start with the board and the appetite is just not there, so it's a case of get used to it.

The warning signs were there a few years ago when Motherwell fans came on the park and taunted the Rangers support and Hibs fans as well. celtic players celebrating in front of our fans hoping for a stupid reaction. Fans celebrating with players on the field after a goal makes others feel they have the freedom to run on. I'ts late 70's early 80's stuff and the only ones to blame are the SFA for doing fuck all about it because it was done to the big bad Rangers.

I find it really hard to balance my love for him as a player and what we know his character to be like as manager and now. Always I wish he would prove me wrong and then he says something and all I think of is the cunt on the first tee with TLB going for the 19th hole and talking about the good old days. This will be my dichotomy for the rest of my life as I loved him during our glory years, hated him as a manager and I am sorry have come to hate him him as a pundit. For our older Bears I am sure one or two will know the feeling, for the younger Bears who have stood strong you possibly never saw his best, for those coming through no they must think he is a tarrier at times. That is the best I can do to express my feelings on him and I will try not to bore people with any more.

Last season we wouldn't have been able to get into most of those winning positions in the first place I never said this season hasn't been frustrating, but it's been far better than the utter embarrassment that was last season.

The off field events of these last few weeks alone could have seen us capitalise from them big time and start to turn the narrative on it's head. I have never got the deal with JT. Whatever the fuck he actually does there is absolutely no value in it and a total waste of money. As for King, he is but a mere visitor. Of a different mindset and experience to the rest of us. He won't get it until it hits him in the pocket. However the rest of the board should know better,, but yet again just like previous boards we seem quite willing to take it up the arse, when we could gain so much from exploiting and reversing the trend gained from these recent incidents at least. None of them appear to give a fuck in protecting our corporate reputation. I don't get it.

Lots of teams I give a fuck about, basically those who fucked us over by chucking us out the league, the same ones whose fans and chairmen were happy to fuck us, and the same teams who then lay down and were fucked up the arse by cellic, yes, the same teams who are happier seeing us continue to be fucked, and would gladly see us totally fucked again. Is that enough justification of fucks I give about those teams ?

Interesting that the words sectarian and bigoted are not being used either. An attack by the fan of a club with an Irish rooted fan base on a Rangers captain. If it had been a Rangers fan attacking a Hibs player I'm sure those words would have been spun.

I think the club may step up trackside security after this . The very last thing bears need is a so called fan or infiltrator getting us lumped into this . The usual vermin will be on their soapbox if this happened . The absolute silence from our club is nauseating . I just keep hating them more and more for their utter gutless weakness to defend all things Rangers

    Dundee United

Too right, there was a time most fans got along okay outwith the games on the pitch themselves, we all supported Scottish football and were happy to see other Scots teams do well in Europe especially (except in the Rangers/cellic divide, which did not originate in football). I actually cheered Dundee United on in their great European games when they thrashed the German teams, and gubbed Barcelona a few times, and when I wasn't watching us would go to games at Clydebank, Firhill etc, just to enjoy the atmosphere and the football. Supported Airdrie in a Anglo-Scotland cup final, Thistle in Europe (yes they actually played in Europe a few times.) That's all changed in recent years, whatever the reasons we were gradually tainted and smeared by a vehement anti Rangers media and political system and ostracized by just about every big team in Scottish football. I for one will never forgive or forget this, and my only consolation is that our revenge wiil be sweet. Those who choose to brush out the events of the past few years and forget how close we came to total extinction (but for our true fan base this could easily have happened) I tend to treat as hangers on and glory hunters. Would prefer if they'd all fucked off and followed relative no marks like Chelsea and other English/European teams. Harsh maybe, but I still remember the hurt I felt as our team floundered, and the fans bore the (continuing) brunt of hatred from the majority of Scottish football teams and institutions. I want revenge and 55 will be the beginning of that revenge. The friendship with the genuine haters will never be renewed. Especially the scum of Aberdeen,Dundee United and of course cellic.

What a shit statement and the wording from the article is reprehensible, compare and contrast with the reaction down south. Appeared to come from the Home end?? We all fucking saw him come running down the steps ya fool. Confronted Tav who then pushed him away?? Tav being made to look like the aggressor. This is continuing narrative of blaming all things on Rangers players and support is going to get a supporter or player killed.

Now now boys, how dare you attack our beloved board, sure they're slow at coming out against our attackers, but please give them, at the very least, somewhere in excess of 48 hours to put half a dozen words together. In that time, they will, fingers crossed, hope that something else takes the headlines and it's all swept under the carpet With a board like ours, who needs enemies. Rangers men ? No fucking way.

The Grealish incident being universally condemned on sky sports and the PFA have already released a statement. Meanwhile in Scotland, I listened to Talksport yesterday and the no.1 media handwringer McCoist describes the Tavernier incident by initially defending the Hibs fan as clearly having had too much to drink and that he didn't think he went on with the intent to attack Tavernier, only to kick the ball away and that Tavernier squared up to him first. Time and time again we just bend over and let ourselves be shafted, why is ours the only board in football who won't stand up for the club they supposedly represent? Its fucking shameful.

It’s a sad day when it takes another player in a different country to get attacked before our own organisation get their arse in gear. Grealish attacked and the EFL have a statement out by halftime and already announced a full investigation and this won’t be allowed to happen again, Birmingham vow to hammer the cunt with a full ban and hope he is prosecuted to the full letter of the law. Here in Scotland after the Captain of Rangers gets assaulted during the game on Friday night we get Or even worse

    Comparisons With Last Season

There's frustration amongst the fans and we are pretty much on the same points tally as last season but it doesn't reflect the true story imo. Last season we had a quite a few embarrassing defeats and went down with a whimper, this season teams are generally having to work like fuck to get something off us and we have been agonisingly close to seeing out games only to fall at the last hurdle, this for me is where the frustration comes from.

We've actually lost the same amount of league games as celtic, it's the draws that are killing us. Fine lines really, if we could have turned those draws into wins, we'd be top. Again, night and day from last season.
