Successful with Swansea and nearly won a league with Liverpool and did well with the Yahoos. He’s now been picked up by a top 10 EPL side. But aye, he’s not a top coach. Face facts, he is. And he’s no longer at them so there’s really no need to deny it.

I was under the impression this was going to be a permanent move. I was really glad as I thought we had finally made a decision on this guy one way or the other, but alas, the saga continues. Realistically he’s never getting anywhere near our midfield as he’s missed vital years in his development. A real shame.

Spot on unfortunately. Think back to Middleton against Bury, same story. Ojo looked skillful yesterday but I think he might get a shock when some of the SPL plodders put their size 14 Mizunos through him.

It was a great piece of individual skill, but think back to Middleton running rings round Bury this time last year. Means little in the grand scheme.

I don’t think it’s far fetched to say the expectations at Rangers have impacted him, look at how safe his play is.

He does look to have a bit of flair. But I find it incredibly hard to get excited about youth players as very few of them ever make it with us, let alone become top performers.

With Flan out this is a chance for Barisic (another one) to make his mark. Expectations amongst the fan base have dropped significantly for him, so hopefully there is less timidity is his play.
