I don't often post on forums these days but I couldn't let this pass without comment. I had the pleasure of meeting Manticore on only one occasion at a very early RM meet in Glasgow. Canadaready had come over from the former colonies and much fun was had by all. Derek was on top form and was a pleasure to be around. I'm pretty sure you were there that night MisterC. Your tribute is absolutely excellent. Anyone who ever interacted with Manticore will understand that this world is diminished by his passing.

As far as I know he didn't make a specific reference to the Nazi's, it was by implication in this tweet:

This quote is from the article in the Guardian. It seems he was simply stating his reasoning behind the FFP rules which is to ensure that clubs such as Rangers can survive and not over stretch to keep up with clubs that have rich benefactors. Time will tell if UEFA have got it right but I personally think the stated objective of FFP is a good one...
