  1. Bit harsh on the disco lights being compared to that diddy
  2. RIP Derek, have met him a few times and known him as a poster on here for years. God bless.
  3. So you entering a discussion with a Rangers fan, no actual desire to engage and discuss the topic but instead call them taig scum over absolutely nothing, said fan reacting negatively to it makes them sensitive? Again, backwards logic.
  4. But as it was my post, you lumped me in with this "general opinion" of yours that those who disagree, I.e me, are taig scum. I've also met many people from here, I've been a moderator on this site years ago and attended meets until driven away by the characters like you that now infest the site with bile like you've spouted on here to me. I've got to consider your feelings first before being upset that you called me taig scum? What backwards logic is that? You're not the type of person I'd ever associate with socially thankfully and I've zero intention of discussing you are so annoyed. Here's a novel idea, why not actually enter a discussion on here the way you would in a normal day to day social interaction? Do you pipe up with that nonsense down the pub or at matches? This site was fantastic at one point, my first post today was my first in yonks and it was greeted by your taig scum reply, so yes, I feel it does need highlighted and getting shot of folk like you on here would do the site a lot of good.
  5. Would you or anyone else on here go into a Rangers pub and call a bear a taig for disagreeing with them? Or scum? Course not, so why is shite like that allowed on here from people that hide behind phones and laptops? We are all meant to be Rangers fans, there are differing views wherever you look. Calling someone taig scum for disagreeing is the type of character you see calling Ricky Foster a "prick" at games.
  6. You can wordplay as much as you like, I said I'd no doubt be called a taig and you piped up with "taig or scum, same thing". Therefore you were calling me scum and a taig. Again, you've given me the opportunity to defend my position? To you? So I've got to reply to you properly when you were unable to converse with me like a normal human being originally? Is that it? I'm replying to you as I want to highlight the problem this site has at present, and weeding out characters like you will get this site back to being great again.
  7. There was no confrontation in my original post, I didn't direct anything towards this boy yet my post was worthy of being called taig scum? I can handle heat of the moment stuff, what I cannot handle is that sort of attitude and then badgering me to show him the same courtesy of a proper reply to his "point" that he point-blank refused my original post. As I said it's this behaviour that's the reason so many have turned away from RM down the years which is a crying shame.
  8. I reiterate, I will continue to "avoid the point" as I refuse point blank to discuss this matter with a character like you. The irony being you completely ignored my original post and your only reply was calling me taig scum. No discussion, no rebuttal, no conversation, just a frothing at the mouth ridiculous "taig scum" reply. Yet, despite that, you now expect me to reply to you and accuse me of avoiding your points like you have something mature and reasonable to say? You see my problem here? If you actually had any decency to discuss any point with a fellow Rangers fan you'd do it like a normal human being. And I will certainly be using that report function when I'm home
  9. Yes, I find discussing you far more important than Rangers. I repeat, I will not go in depth with a conversation with someone who calls me taig scum for not agreeing with them. I wouldn't talk to someone like that in the street or associate with anyone of that ilk, so why would I on here? Clearly having a rational, mature discussion is not something you are able to muster so why would i start? To reiterate, people like you are why so many stopped using Rangersmedia. I'm on my phone and can't seem to find a report post button, if you direct me to it I'll gladly report you for your disgusting behaviour.
  10. Taig, scum and want to hurt the club? You really expect any right-minded Rangers fan to engage in any sort of debate with this type of mindset? I repeat, I will not discuss this with you. Despite your quite disgusting attitude do you see me retaliating with name calling? No. Frustration that someone disagrees with you results in them being a taig? Quite disturbing. And if you even bothered to read my original post that resulted in you calling me taig scum, you'd realise I was holding no one to ransom. My season ticket money will be conditional, based on the current boards actions and transparency from this point onwards. As a Rangers fan, after everything we've been through as a club I feel this is more than acceptable. Dave King is a man i trust that has Rangers best interests at heart. If you don't, carry on. Calling someone a taig for not agreeing with you will only switch users off from this site. The fact you're even still posting without being banned yet is unfortunately a damning indictment of where Rangersmedia is as a forum now and sadly why so many good Rangers fans have been driven away from here over the years.
  11. I'm not conversing about the topic at hand, I'm quoting you to reply to the sheer horrible attitude myself and many others have had to endure, thus forcing us away from what was once a great forum. Avoiding your points? What points? That I'm a taig scum for not agreeing with whatever opinion it is you hold? Yes, in that case I most certainly am avoiding your points and will continue to do so. Discussing this subject with a person of your mindset is not in my interests.
  12. As I said I refuse to converse with your type, and I certainly won't be explaining myself to someone like you. Carry on ruining what once was a fantastic forum for bears to freely discuss and debate all things Rangers. I do hope just once that the admin team take notice of the nonsense that is allowed to carry on within this site.
  13. I refuse point blank to engage in a conversation with someone who calls me a "taig or scum". I know of several good bears who are gutted they can't use this site any more and people like you are the reason. On the rare occasions I come on here I are "where are they now?" Threads as good folk get driven away. I came on here, made 1 post supporting Dave King in his pursuit of openness and transparency, on how we are a shambles behind the scene and get called a taig scum immediately. No time for nonsense like this.
  14. Are admin on this site still not understanding that allowing this type of post on here regularly is the reason why so many good posters stopped using this site regularly years ago? What the hell is going on? When did this board become infested with characters like this?
  15. Fantastic statement, and his ideas make sense. The leeches inside our club need to be completely and utterly transparent as a bare minimum if they think they can count on us funding them. I for one will not be purchasing a season ticket unless it's under the terms in that statement. According to some folk on here that makes me "a taig". Utter depressing. We are sleepwalking into the abyss again and I wish folk would wake up to this. Dave King is trying to help us, let's listen to the man! I want my Rangers back!!
  16. It peaked when I was a mod years ago, they couldn't top my attractiveness after that
  17. Nemesis at the end of the day we're all Rangers fans. We all want what's best for Rangers first and foremost no matter what forum you post on, no matter what blog you write on, anything. A lot of the prominent Rangers bloggers such as Fury do a really good job at promoting Rangers and at the end of the day he's just like you or me. Same as Mark Dingwall etc. As are the others. As are the posters on FF, or the ones on here. Rangers comes first and after what has happened to us the past couple of years we must now understand the importance of sticking together, sticking up for our own and uniting. So many people have differing views to me on different Rangers-related issues and I respect that. RM has some great people on it, i've met more than a few over the years and FF is also a great forum. Anywhere that discusses Rangers and is full of Rangers fans is a place I want to be. I used to post more on RM but I now probably post more on FF (more to do with when RM changed to a new messageboard I found it slower than the old one) but at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. These sites are just platforms for us to discuss the club we love, no more, no less.
  18. Sorry Kev, I mean that it has been such a turbulent period for us it has been very difficult to rebuild the way a lot of fans are suggesting we could have. Also, we know Ally is an old-fashioned type of manager, he basically thinks we as fans wouldn't be patient enough for all that and want us back challenging Celtic as soon as possible. He wouldn't be wrong either IMO. Yes, getting a proper set-up, changing our "philosophy" etc all sounds good in theory, it does and I am all for it, but the pressure that is on us to win every single game is immense. Even when we were in the SPL fans wanted us to change our style etc but in reality it never works like that. I've seen us at home v Kilmarnock or someone, drawing 0-0 after 30 minutes and we're keeping the ball, making the other team work for it, being patient, meanwhile in the stands the fans are groaning and moaning to get it forward. We hoof it forward, lose the ball, the fans moan again. I think we as a club need to change our attitude towards football from top to bottom. Unfortunately at the minute any hope of being able to concentrate on the football side of things seems futile. Until we are settled behind the scenes we just have to hope Ally keeps the team winning games and plugging our way back to the top league.
  19. Ally, for all his faults has not really had a fair crack at showing what he can do. He's getting that chance now. Don't get me wrong, playing 5 at the back against european dross, hoofing the ball up to a target man and absolutely atrocious style of football cannot be ignored, nor can his cup record, but if we are going to slag him off we must also have the flip side. He's had to build 3 squads in 3 years basically. 1 for the SPL, 1 for the SFL3 and now 1 for SFL2 and "the championship". He will then need an entirely new squad when we get to the "premiership". He can't get a settled team. He was robbed under Whyte for funds, and the players he wanted (Goodwillie, Verhoek, Cuellar, Juhasz, Hemed etc etc) we ALL wanted. We were all excited at the prospect of them signing but instead we ended up with garbage like Bedoya, Ortiz etc. Players who were never even remotely Rangers class. We understand now that it was because Whyte was ripping us off. Our first team squad was then decimated as we were put down to SFL3, he brought in a few decent players for that level and played youngsters. We were inconsistant last season but won the league comfortably. We now have been able to get a strong pre-season, good players in and are romping this league comfortably, but we have the Forfar result there that sours it. I worry about Ally. I worry that he isn't savvy enough to get the better of Lennon when we're back, I worry that he won't be positive when we get into Europe and we'll end up getting turned over by dross again, I worry that he keeps making the same mistakes and is too predictable. However, he gets my backing as he, quite frankly, is the only character I trust inside Rangers at the minute.
  20. Can't wait for the ps4. looks far superior to the new xbox
  21. Is it not a pain in the hole watching fans bicker among ourselves? My forum could batter your forum pish? I've got lots of posts on both FF and RM, I post on twitter and facebook and enjoy seeing the views of all Rangers fans. Somewhere down the line winning the battle of the forums seemed to take over all logic and sense with too many. It's scunnering to be honest. The vitriol aimed at fellow bears because of what supporters group or forum they are involved in is tarrier-esque.
  22. I'm sure Charles Green is a very smart man however he is absolutely not the type of character that should ever be given a serious amount of power at our club. He lacks class, credibility and above all is a liar. All we ask from the people running our club is honesty and to show the integrity that we've possessed since our founding fathers and they must be spinning in their graves seeing what is happening to us currently. Charles Green and his "Rangersitis" nonsense need hunted out of our club along with the rest of his cronies ASAP, this is all in my opinion as an individual Rangers fan.
  23. We all want what is best for Rangers, quite clearly the people currently involved in our club are not what's best for Rangers and are sucking the life out of us. I pray Jim McColl, Paul Murray and Frank Blin can get a grip on this situation before it spirals further out of control than it already is as we're an absolute shambles behind the scenes. People can question Paul Murray with regards to the previous regime but this is a man that loves the club the way you and I do and has the know-how to help cleanse us of this infestation of leeches inside the club. I hope the EGM gets the right result for RFC, not any RFC bloggers, any RFC forum or fans group or individual, but for the club we all love as this is 1 of the most testing times we've had to endure as Rangers fans in most of our lives. Now is the time to unite.
  24. I feel we are starting to gel together now, the start of the season we were fairly poor but we are playing some really good stuff lately and should just get better from here on in. With the return of Templeton and soon Sandaza I think we will see some exciting stuff.
  25. Need a vastly improved performance for this game. Healy up front just will not do although we've left ourselves in a terrible situation that we basically have no other option. It saddens me to say that we actually would be as well putting McCulloch in there, or at least give him a shot up front. Another gutless performance and dropping points will be unacceptable and McCoist's position really will come under threat.
