That's fair. I think he has been good since he came here. The team look fitter, hungrier, and are at least trying to play a consistent style of football again. He has still to do a job against them, but overall I'm happier with him than ibwas with Gio this season.

Matondo looks like he might be a complete failure. We will be lucky to get anything back for him. Plenty of time for Yilmaz. It's been unlucky for him that Borna has been putting in the work this season. Our medical department needs overhauled more than the team. We have had almost an entire first team worth of players out at points this season and players are taking way too long to recover, or getting injured way too quickly after coming back. I'd be looking to bring in a new medical team asap.

Absolutely. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. For example we don't know how much he had to work to get goldson to sign last season, and it didn't happen till the last second. For all we know, he has been trying like a bear to get both Kent and Morelos to sign new deals, but they just don't want to. If he had sold both in the summer while we were going for the champions league then people would have went fucking mental mate. He can't make them sign,can't force them to go, can't take an offer we don't have on the table etc.

Guys like Wright might not be long term options but he has scored Important goals at important times. Yilmaz has a potential. All I'm saying is that it isn't all black and white. We don't know what his actual remit at the club was. No. Not really. What I will say is this. During his time here we win the league for the first time in a decade. Won a cup in the first time in a decade Got to a Euro final. Got our highest ever transfer fee for a kid Got our highest ever transfer fee for a player The list of players signed under him isn't as bad as people make out about half done a job for us. I'm glad he is gone as it's one less thing for people to moan about constantly. I'll lose no sleep over him leaving but I don't think he was the main issue at the club.

Ok I'll be honest. I have no idea exactly what a DOF actually does. I know he likely negotiates the deals, but other than that i don't know enough to decide if he was pish at his job or not. He did get us two of our highest ever transfer fees, one of them for a kid just breaking into the team. If it calms the fan base down a bit then it I'm good with it. Maybe we can all move forward together now... lol.

The Morelos decision is one in a long line of utterly insane decisions that Clancy has made against us, up there with the worst of them. I don't know if it's total incompetence or something more sinister, but it's consistent.

I don't think I'd want him as a replacement for Morelos. I do think he would do a job with us and be a good back up striker, or part of a two up top if we decide to go that route.
