  1. If Millar is done or injured long-term it may be that we have to take him back anyway. Not a question of whether he is totally sh*te or not. I'm sure we have better in our youth squad. Bring him back and he can paint the stands.
  2. This could have been a great weekend. celtic beaten. hibs beaten. All we needed was a result against f*kin St Johnston is it too much to ask Rangers.
  3. The club has hardly treated its support with much dignity or respect. The club and board treat fans like ignorant Season Ticket money and little else but fans need to play their part.
  4. The performance was always going to be ugly with Ryan Jack banned, various injuries, so Kenny being off didn't make much difference. We owe Kenny a lot but he is not able to keep up and he isn't the guy holding this team together.
  5. I'd take Hibs to beat Aberdeen. I'd not think that team last night could lay a finger on celtic though. Holding on to 2nd spot is a possible, overtaking celtic is also statistically possible, as possible as my hair growing back on top of my head.
  6. Flip flop, I could argue that many Scottish managers could barely speak English but still managed to work at the highest levels of the English Premier League. Sir Alex etc.
  7. celtic board will have noted the panic/struggle and will deploy funds (within reason) for Brenda. We might have a few players coming back so that will help us. We have to defeat Hibs. A few good results like Aberdeen and everything changes. Not deluding myself because we haven't got the money and the depth and we haven't come close to bothering them all season. Murty is safe. Even if he has a bad result or two he can go back to his day job head held high, especially if he beats fungus teeth.
  8. Not picking a fight as you seem to have a few connections but can Rangers only sign certain players if Dave King is on the phone? Does this mean DK had final say on Pena, Cardoso, Morelos etc? Hold my hand up and say I don't know myself.
  9. Apparently McInnes was shown this 'list'. It includes Moult, half the Newcastle team, and Tore Andre Flo
  10. We are not so very far off except we have little or no strength in depth. Had Niko, Wallace, Rossiter and maybe a few others been at their best on paper and on the pitch we could mount a challenge. The fact we are only a few wins away from making a difference is more an indictment of how sh*t the 'invincibles' are. With all the money they have it shouldn't be possible to get even close. Beat Hibs and lets see. Lose to Hibs and forget it.
  11. Let's eat grandpa (grammar pedant).
  12. Let's just see if any players roll up on Thursday shall we.
  13. Get the feeling if Murty could string a few wins together (which is more than Pedro managed ) he would be here for a wee bit longer. Not really fair on him this situation.
  14. my assistant might be chesty morgan, thanks santa then I'd bring in Moult Buffon first foreign player
  15. The thing about Murty is that he clearly knows what the job is about, add to this the fact that he knows the kids, add to this that there isn't an ego there, add to this the fact that he actually has been building up experience at the highest level. Not kidding myself, it's still not ideal but I hardly think he can be any more an embarrassment than Warburton or Pedro. In fact I'm bloody certain he can do a damn sight better.
  16. If he wants a deal on a few players give us a call Pedro.
  17. We've seen it before, a good performance, hopes raised, light at the end of the tunnel... then we drop points to Hamilton or some other p*sh side.
  18. Its not good but a little perspective, beat Hamilton, beat Aberdeen, beat Hibs, stop dropping points we should never have dropped and we would be right where most of us expect us to be. Rangers cannot be Rangers without at least 4 of the best players in the country playing in our team. That cannot be achieved on the cheap. Niko 5 yrs ago was that kind of a player but he aint that anymore. Alves 5 yrs ago was that kind of player etc etc. Rangers cannot be the kind of team we all demand with old Pros and Championship rejects no matter which manager we get. We ought to be realistic or spend some f*kin money on genuine quality.
  19. Aye, Rangers take a player who is banging in goals and after a few months he becomes sh*t. Morelos was a goal machine till he came here and we soon fixed him. O'Halloran and even Templeton came here and we turned them into donkeys. We'd do just the same with Moult. The players aren't the problem its something about the culture here at Rangers. Getting paid for doing f*ck all. From top to bottom our club is chronically unwell.
  20. With Hibs and Aberdeen dropping points this should have been 3 points in the bag and dragging our great club back. Instead, here we are. Stinking. Depressing. But you cannot get there with a kids coach - coaching old farts and bargain buys.
  21. Windass actually took his goal well. good days work.
  22. 2 kinds of manager, one who will allow the players to figure out a lot of their play based on experience and the other kind is one who imposes their style of play regardless of what the players think is best. I suppose I lean more towards Murty's attitude. Depends what players you have I guess.
  23. It would have been clear enough to our older more experienced players that Pedro was in over his head, we, most of us, thought it was over after Progress, but we had to go on, most of us said he needed a few games to prove himself. He got those games and we saw that PC was a plonker. Fair play to Millar and anyone else who spoke up when they saw what was going down. Pity the board are ultimately responsible and a shower of utter deadbeats. We have no time to mess around. Directly go for McInnes. Sign up a few of McInnes' choices. Move on and stop dropping points to Thistle, Killie, and the like. Start hammering Hibs and Hearts. Get closer to celtic. Win a cup.
