  1. I remember Pieter Huistra getting out of his car to give me an autograph when I was wee boy, total legend for that. Met Neill McCann at Gatwick last year, was pretty sound; but he was with his missus so I didnae want to push it too far.
  2. John Portsmouth FC - what a fucking legend. Would do my tits in having to listen to that bloody cow bell all the time, mind you.
  3. Being exiled to central Europe, I would be right up for something like this. Something that would let like-minded folk recognise each other.
  4. Bocanegra for me, or big Goian just for carrying on with a broken nose.
  5. I sincerely hope it's not his last game, although, as has been said above, I can't see the administrators keeping him. He's been a solid player for us a years, rarely does anything spectactular, but rarely makes any mistakes either. His consistency will be sorely missed when he goes. And, as for being played in midfield...it just doesn't make sense. He did a great job adapting from centre half to left back, but to then expect him to learn another new position at this stage in his career is just beyond me. I find it difficult enough being asked to play in a different position to what I normally play, even at my level. Can't imagine how much more difficult it is at that level. The dorr should always be open, anytime he wants to come back and visit,
  6. If we do lose the court case, and have to pay the outstanding tax, is administration (or even liquidation) necessarily the next step? Basically, would we have to make a lump sum, up-front payment, or could we make the payment in installments? just something that came to me tonight. Not really sure how it works, but I'm sure HMRC are similar to any other company/individual and would prefer to get all their owed, albeit over a period of time, than potentially none of it. The club wouldn't lose out in terms of reputation, nor would we be banned from European competition for the three years.
  7. Only seen a photo of the tackle he made, no video, but it looks a fucking shocker. Based purely on what I've seen of him on the TV, I hate that wee cunt and would love to see him get taken out of the game with an horrific injury. I have to admit, Iain Murray did go up in my estimations when he absolutley cleaned Black out a couple of years agon, in an Edinburgh derby. Black jumped for a header in midfielder, Murray came from fucking nowhere (he wasn't even on-screen when Black took off) and forearm smashed him in the back of the head. Pure poetry in motion.
  8. Absolutely love Novo, but wouldn't want him back.
  9. Ta. If he's a good as he's being made out to be would be a good signing.
  10. Cheers. Seems like a bit of waste of time signing another CM, I mean big Jig has got at least another 6 or 7 years playing for us yet
  11. I've never seen the boy play, in fact before this thread I'd never heard of him. Where does he play? Is he actually any good?
  12. Edgar Davids during the last WC on BBC was quality. There was one game were we was just about asleep, sat next to Shearer with Lineker not having a clue what to do, brilliant viewing. Adebayor's performance with his iPhone was enjoyable to watch, too.
  13. Bob Crampsie was always alright, I thought, but then again, he was on the radio when I was a kid, but I used to like listening to him.
  14. All in, well over a grand for the final in Manchester.
  15. Any that arenae on british telly - they just generally commentate on the game and don't continuously slaver on about all sorts of pish. In saying that, I do quite like Guillem Ballague, probably because he's a journalist mind you; similar situation to AC Jimbo, who got a mention earlier on. Jamie Redknapp is a top, top, top pundit, though.
