I think Sutton just nails his colours to the mast and often (like our pen today) his heart rules his head. Stewart on the other hand has a pre meditated bias and agenda out of pure bitterness and shouldn’t be on media duties.
Have folk not figured out yet that it is all intentional? Their job is to incite anger. It drives engagement.
Boyd is just as hated by their lot as Sutton is by us.
They (Sky and BBC) want the anger, they want the conspiracy theories, they stoke the fires.
They could quench the flames very easily by employing balanced and reasonable pundits who would call things as they see them. McCoist does that. I have seen Lennon recently be quite balanced, which is just fucking creepy. (I am sure it won’t last)
Best thing to do is ignore them all and refuse to play their game

Will hurt them more so I am happy.
It will hurt them to be unbeaten against us in the league? Be 2 points clear with a home game against us to come?
They will be thinking “should have held on for the win, but no damage done and we will do them at Parkhead”
We better win our game in hand to go top but they have the far easier run in

It will forever baffle me how anyone can say that today “feels like a win”.
We had all the momentum since turn of the year, we were at our home with zero away fans, we were playing a side without their captain.
I have always admired optimists but just can’t see it today.

Half empty.
I feel we needed the three points today for the belief of the team. Under Gerrard latterly we believed we could beat them. Now no matter what we do elsewhere we just can’t seem to turn it on when it matters.
Do you think this is what they felt like in the 90s when Tommy Burns was their manager?

We were shit in the first half. No doubt. But that was an utterly freak first goal.
Going 1 nil down inside 22 seconds is a total game changer. It allows them to sit back and soak up whatever we can muster. Which wasn’t a lot granted but with a goal in their pocket the pressure is completely off them and all on us. That totally changes the dynamic.
Gutted with a draw and feel they have the advantage now. But it is very hard to read too much into the whole thing given that freakish goal and the total lottery of an accidental ball to elbow penalty. one of the weirdest OF’s I have seen.

Clubs own coefficient has absolutely nothing to do with country coefficient.
I understand that. Just saying that on TV it clearly stated that the club coefficient would mean that if we win the league in 2025, we would automatically qualify for CL. They probably got it wrong. But that’s what they said.

That's completely wrong.
That’s what was said before kick off

Not controversial at all, neither are anywhere near the required standard.
I am constantly terrified that if Roofe breaks into a gentle run he might break

Up against Di Maria and looked completely in control over the two legs.... if he can maintain that kind of form, we don't need to go looking for a left back....
Or sell him for mega bucks and buy a forward

What was bizarre about the team selection?

Convinced we have a bunch of tarriers on here... how anyone can be blaming the manager for the loss over two legs is beyond mental.... That was fucking Benfica ,... their budget dwarfs ours.... we gave a real good account of ourselves and a couple of breaks we could have gone through this tie. PC is a miracle worker with some of the players he has had to work with ....
Gutted to be out but win this league, get in the Cham league and give PC all the money we can possibly scrape together

Ridvan is brilliant

Diomande looks fucked

Btw. It’s obvious they are standing off us and going for the counter attack.

Souttar, Tav, Ridvan and Lawrence have all been tremendous.
Lunny couple of mistakes but generally good too.

We still have to win on Thursday FFS
Even assuming we do, which is a very big result. The teams that are still in this competition this time around are miles better than last time we got to the final.
One game at a time and enjoy the ride

Unless we make the All-Ireland final I don't think we will be playing at Croke Park mate.
They have reserved croke park as a fans viewing area. Can you imagine 50k Rangers fans in croke park watching the big screen 😂

Don’t listen to him mate, our own manager recently said even the fans that don’t make games that he meets on the streets are true diehards too

How many games do you get to a season and were you there last night?
Almost none.... No... I guess that precludes me from having an opinion

They've celebrated "lizzie in a box", attacked our players, rampaged at Hampden, flung bottles at our players and recently a corkscrew at Shankland. Their players for years have tried to seriously hurt ours.
Forgive me for not giving a fuck about them or their players. No moral high ground needed.
All of which is knuckle dragger behaviour... their fans are junky pricks.... as a club they are pretty unlikeable too... none of which means that we need to lower ourselves to that.... I remember having these discussions years ago on here... we set the standards...
Maybe a bit dramatic, but Martin Boyle could have died last night, its not unprecedented.... just doesnt sit well with me that we are singing die you soap dodgers bastard as he is being stretchered off....

Not sure what was controversial about comparing a knife to words.
The moral high ground will never work....ask Ian Durrant,Davie Cooper and the list goes on.
I meant mine was the controversial opinion,.. not yours...Hibs were at it again last night with a vape being flung onto the pitch.... throwing knives and vapes etc is clearly worse than hurty words... just would prefer we didn't hurl abuse at someone that was clearly seriously injured....
The Durrant, Cooper, Ibrox disaster stuff is abhorrent and I want us to be well well above that...

It’s the whole of Scottish football. If we go on to win this league it is going to ramp up exponentially. They fucking despise us. All of them …, and us being champions is going to make it worse.
