Megaphone V Valencia
BlueIsTheColour replied to tinaturnerthebest4no1's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I take it this was in TBO section mate? We are permitted to have access to the ground with a megaphone, helps coordinate the singing. You can't just blast out NPOR or TBB though, otherwise you and the megaphone are going out and not coming back. -
These banners cost an awful lot of money, its not as easy as just getting them made. The Struth and Wallace banners cost thousands of pounds.

Here's a wee story that may make some of you recosider your position here (probably not though, with your head so firmly up Murray's arse). When Rangers were found not-guilty for sectarian singing in 2006 only for the verdict to be overturned on appeal by an Irish (no bias there) UEFA delegate and his cronies in the Scottish political system, a certain Martin Bain compiled an absolutely unbeatable defence made up of testimony from some of the top Sociology professors and community leaders in Scotland. It blew out of the water all claims that TBB was a sectarian song or conatined any sectarian reference. Martin Bain put all of this together and submitted it to David Murray around a week after the revised guilty verdict, before the deadline for Rangers to appeal. David Murray decided not to proceed with the appeal and accept the verdict. This is absolute fact. So Rangers knew for a fact the song wasn't sectarian and the UEFA verdict could be completely crushed. Yet one man decided that the Rangers support should have to endure the negative press, the victimisation and the scrutiny. One man decided he would allow our club to have its name dragged through the corridors of power whilst he sat there and did nothing. Only one man is responsible for TBB being frowned upon at Ibrox and across the country. UEFA, the SPL and the SFA know this. And they know that with Murray out of the frame that defence can be used should ever they decide to take unjust action on our support for singing it.
-
Where was UEFA when we belted out No Pope of Rome in Manchester? I mean, surely if they are cracking down on sectarian songs by our support..... Could it be they realise they were duped by a couple of bitter journalists and politicians into making a judgement they knew nothing about?
-
Aye ok.....
-
Yes. I recall 40'000 singing it against St Johnstone. And the same amount, possibly more last season against Hibs.
-
Second home game of the season, St Johnstone. It was heard all around the stadium towards the end of the game.
-
All this talk on the forums is just meaningless, because at the end of the day the fans who go to away games (and the majority at Ibrox) will continue to belt our song out. No Surrender.
-
I'm missing the Valencia game so i will just work like fuck and try to forget about it really. Come Friday night the nerves will kick in big time, as always.

Anyone saw this banner.?
BlueIsTheColour replied to ForeverBlue_Since91's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I can't believe people are surprised here. The Scum latched onto Liverpool as they have with every other fucking club, the majority of the Liverpool support want absolutely nothing to do with them. Have a look at the history of the Liverpool FC and you'll see that they have much in common with Rangers. -
Greig and McNeil to lead out teams Jan 2nd
BlueIsTheColour replied to djbroxybear's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Well i'm not sure who asked the question so it isn't clear as to what banners they meant. However, i'd like the see the Legends banners that TBO look after to be used in this way. They are not allowed into the ground due to fire certificate issues so it would be a nice touch to utilise them in this way. Possibly rotate them every couple of games or for special occasions. -
He played in the African Nations for Algeria and looked a decent player. Plenty of pace and i reckon he'll be able to stand up to the physical side of the Scottish game.

It was mentioned about the possibility of putting banners over the screens, Bain said he would look into it. -
Banners at Celtic Park next week
BlueIsTheColour replied to 1st_Jan_1994's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
It depends if they actually make you take it out the bag and unfurl it. Most of the time they don't and so content won't be a problem but on some occasions they'll check it. You won't get in with something saying No Surrender, the Police see that as inciting trouble. Just tell them it is your RSC flag when they ask you and they won't take it any further. They just want the fans in and out of the ground as quickly as possible. -

To anyone that keep their ticket stubs
BlueIsTheColour replied to 1st_Jan_1994's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I have an Artmedia away one that was never used, it's still the full ticket. -
The place is a T*rrier infested dive. No Rangers fan should be seen dead in a place like that but unfortunately there are many these days who put a convenient pint above principals. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to see how the regulars react whenever a Republican parade passes by.

Exactly what i was thinking. If we won 8-1 it would be almost 90 minutes of partying inside the stadium, as well as afterwards. An injury time winner would mean that the rest of the game would be tense as fuck. I'd rather then having to watch us party while their team gets demolished.

Should Women Be Allowed At Football
BlueIsTheColour replied to Big Laff's Dodgy Barnett's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Some of the women at the football are fucking mental, i'd rather have them in the trenches than some of the males.
