I have no issue with RST selling their good but if you want to ensure money goes into the club then
Buy a program (buy 2)
Buy a rising star ticket (buy 2)
Buy a brick from the club
Buy some corporate hospitality (if you're flush)
There are many ways you can invest DIRECTLY to the club, if you so wish.
However, if you want to buy RST goods and further encourage Fan Ownership, then I'm all for that too.
As someone else said, its your cash spend it how you like.

I thought we had moved on , but it is clear from this that we are still very much a divided support. Whatever happened to a Rangers fan just being a Rangers fan.

I go to games, I've always been a Scotland fan & nothing that happens to RFC would change that .. I was also a NO voter but that also means fuck all when supporting my team or my country

Is Ally to blame for the playing staff wage bill, partially so .. yes.
He has sought to increase an ever burgeoning squad and fill it with journeyman players, under utilising the younger players with the potential to grow into 1st team contributors.
HOWEVER, he doesn't control the finances, he doesn't see that our outgoings FAR exceeded out incomings, that was the responsibility of our board & more specifically our FD.
There had to be a person strong enough on the board to say NO, that person should have been the chairman, on the advice of the FD.
Of course, we are also the ONLY professional club in the UK which has a NON playing wage bill which was more than the playing staff & however unsavoury the thought, that is a position that has to change, usually via redundancies.
Again, the position of our non playing v playing costs is also under the direct control of our board, past & present.
The whole situation is horrific, we are now in a situation we swore we would never be in again, we have burned through almost £50m in 2 yrs on our return to the FIRST DIVISION, we still have another division to go ... will that take £25m ??
Who is responsible for this mess, well not the current board, they've inherited this disaster & are now trying to make a ssilk purse from a pigs ear !!
The blame can only fall on our current FD & erstwhile bus proprietor, they are what remains from the thieving cabal who stole, misappropriated or otherwise misused our IPO & ST money.
I also note that our friendly neighbourhood lickspittle (Bawsburst) has reappeared, to defend the current board, can I just say .... GTF JACK !!!

I stated that the lunatics have taken over the asylum (IMO) in that there are certain posters on RM that will turn any thread about RST/Chris Graham etc into an all out slagging match, personal insults will fly in both directions & basically I felt that many threads were completely ruined because they were always turned towards personality clashes rather than the actual topic at hand (see the Charles Green leaves thread as a classic case in point)
I have always liked RM, even written for it (long time ago now) and have always enjoyed the openness it allowed, however, recently that permissive stance has, again IMO, been abused by posters (in both camps) allowing a free-for-all in threads to turn into quagmires of insults.

I'm going to court, force the club to defend itself in the action thereby incurring legal fees, then If I win I will then take the money from the club .... & give it back to the club

I did disagree with some of the points and thought that it was a slightly one sided point of view being broadcast, however you can't broadcast the other side if no-one was willing to go online to argue for it.

The RangersStandard are about to publish a book about the fall then rise of Rangers.
I think it will be good to get a viewpoint on our last year or so from a fans viewpoint, not a media with an axe to grind or Celtic bloggers tarred with a sectarian brush.

These guys (& gal) choose to give of their time & write a book on our 'Annus Horrblis' from a fans viewpoint, then decide to donate any profits made to the Rangers Charity but still people complain.

Thermo, there is no defence for signing songs that will destroy the name & image of the club.
Does it irk me that Celtic and the rest can sing songs which draw little criticism, of course but there is nothing I can do to change that except to draw attention to it, however, when people can say (just as I'm doing about them) "what about .." it's a difficult thing to argue against.
Sometimes, you need to look inward to solve a problem then look to the rest of the worl to fix that later.
