  1. My understanding is Its because Manchester United's stadium is located in Trafford. Manchester City has historically been situated in Moss Side (Maine Road) and now Sport City (City of Manchester Stadium) which are located in the city itself. It's all bull shit as Trafford is in Greater Manchester. I worked in Trafford a year ago and everyone called it Manchester. I dealt with the post and it was addressed to Manchester with a Manchester post code
  2. Oh my, Did Harrison attempt one jab in 2 and a bit rounds? Bye Bye Audley!!!
  3. when does it start? Has it started? Have I missed it?
  4. When we lost and he didnt score that's what we called him I think we should credit Walter again, he is the only manager that can get Boyd to move his fat arse and get the best out of him!
  5. I can't wait!!! All my mates are Utd fans (i live in Manchester) Id like to see a 4231 formation, keep it solid and try and make it as difficult as possible for them to break us down. Hit them on the break and GIRU United fans Just as long as we don't lie down and easily concede then i'll be happy - if they are gonna score lets make them work as hard as they can to do so! That's what I say, and I reck that's what Walter will be telling his players before the game! MON THE GERS!!!!
  6. OK, so I was browsing the web and I had a look on the rangers wikipedia transfers page. It states all our squads contract expiration year. It makes for interesting reading Weir (we know this will be his final year anyway) Papac McCulloch Velicka Miller Webster Alexander and Little's contracts all expire this time next summer. Can we afford to lose any of these players next summer for free? Is the bank looking to offload them this summer for a fee? Are we ever going to bring in any replacements? Will bougey, McG and Davis be off as they should command a largish (well in terms of SPL) fee this summer? Is this the summer of the Rangers exodus?
  7. Agree 100% I'm also rangers till I die. I'll keep supporting RFC even if we where relegated. I wudnt be happy about it but they'd still have my unquestionable loyalty. This is what sets us apart from the rest, loyalty to an institution that is more than a football club. It's a way of life!
  8. Henrik "shitlocks" Larsson move over rover let Boydy take over!!!
  9. I'd rather see beasley out on the left than McCulloch, Novo, Lafferty or Stevie Smith I am also up for giving Rothen a second chance also
  10. a snip at 2 mill fantastic player
  11. I would totally be up for that....We need the right man at the helm to implement it though.
  12. Fair enough..I had no idea about that!! I just hope Burley isn't Scotland manager for the next campaign
  13. The SFA should have met as soon as the match finished!!! The SFA are a joke and the alcoholic will remain in charge
  14. What's playing him too young got to do with it? He'd still be shite
  15. it must be weird shit as well like that F1 guy
  16. Did you know that George Burley's win ratio is worse than Berti vogts? Manager.................Duration.........P......W.....D......L.......Win Ratio % Berti Vogts...........2002–2004.......31......8.....7......16..........25.81 George Burley.....2008–present....14......3.....3.......8...........21.43 That is shocking. I just hope Burley doesn't get as long as Vogts did tbh sourced...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland_national_football_team
  17. Souness would be an ideal national manager IMO
  18. the home nations and the big sides like Germany, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, France, Spain, Holland etc....but i wouldnt say I supported them, just watch them if they're on the box
  19. It makes me wonder if the SFA are actually looking out for the best interests of Scottish football at times! Burley has had 2 games longer than he should have had, Stevie Wonder can see that...why can't the SFA? Miserable, dissapointing, but accurately predicted by the vast majority!! I'm afraid it will be the same old story the next time Burley leads his team out onto a pitch.
  20. I hope your wrong too. Inside 3/5 years we would be contending for the EPL and CL EVERY season , bit of a step up, but thats what money does for you... that soon? I think it will take alot longer to build a team fit enough to break the top 4....and continue to be in the top 4 every year The top 4 have the best scouting networks, youth teams, coaches and club infrastructures in the world!! We can not match that and I think it would take longer than 5 years to implement all that as well as a higher calubre of player at Iborx personally. Although I hope we get the opportunity and that I am proved wrong
  21. I know it's came from the Sun so it is probably a load of shite! its in the Mail as well about Redknapp...have to say there is a lot more supoort than there ever has been for the OF to go south Of course there is more support than ever as Rangers and Celtic would be the biggest teams in the FA Premier League 2
  22. Collymore is a fanny Let's hear him pipe up when the England boys tear it up in South Africa this summer.
  23. In order after Weir id go McG Thomson Mendes maybe Edu However, I do think Wilson has got captain credentials....although he needs a few years under his belt before i'd consider him
