If we watched him properly, over a number of games, then it will have been when he was playing on the left hand side. So obviously he was brought in to play a number of roles... unfortunatley, he's shit, and can't play in any of them. Frederic Piquionne will be available in the summer. I'd take him! A big targetman I hear you ask? Stefan Maierhofer has just joined Bristol City on an emergency loan! I'd hate to see Maierhofer join us tbh papa. There's a reason he didn't get a sniff of first team football at Wolves. Yes he may have scored quite a lot of goals in the Austrian Bundesliga, but most of those were tap-ins and the like - he just benefited from the then excellent Rapid team behind him. He's a very limited footballer with next to no skill on the ball, his game consists only of his physical strength and his height. I don't rate the guy at all, plus he's one arrogant bastard who thinks he's a world beater. A striker I'd love at Rangers is Daniel Beichler of Sturm Graz. Capped 5 times at 21, he's one of the rising stars of the Austrian game and wouldn't be too expensive. Of course he wouldn't push Boyd or Miller out of the team, but he'd be an excellent 3rd striker to have and a real talent to build on for the future. Just found a video of couple of nice goals of him, he's also got quite a strike on him....

Watching him can be so depressing. Sometimes I really wonder how the hell the guy managed to become a professional footballer. The fact that he is on ????k a week is a punch in the face for any amateur. Owes us some big performances.
