  1. Airdire are a completely different situation from us, there is no way we should of went down the Airdrie route.. Think about all 3 clubs. Rangers FC > ownded by Rangers PLC > Rangers PLC go bust > Rangers FC bought by Newco PLC > Rangers FC continue Clydebank FC > ownded by Clydebank PLC > Clydebank PLC go bust > Clydebank FC bought by Airdrie Utd PLC > name Changed to 'Airdrie Utd' FC and moved to Airdire > Name changed to 'Airdrioneans' > Clydebank FC (under new name of 'Airdrioneans') continue Airdrioneans FC > owned by Airdrioneans PLC > Airdrioneans PLC goes bust > No buyer for Airdrioneans FC > Airdrioneans FC go out of business Pretty sure we didnt miss any boat.. I'd much rather be supporting THE Rangers in Div 3, League 1 or where ever, instead of supporting another team in the SPL who have changed their name to 'Rangers' P.s with regards to the on going debate about Airdrie fans leanings, I know a pretty large group of Airdrie fans and each one of them hate us! Maybe not quite as much as they hate the dhims but they still hate us too. They all suffer from wee team syndrome, but to be fair this is a younger generation of Airdrie fans (20-25), maybe the older generation are different, but in my expereince the only Rangers connection is that of genuine Rangers fans from Airdrie who have a soft spot for their local team. I've yet to meet a genuine Airdrie fan with a soft spot for Rangers.
  2. Done these two when this thread was first posted but never uploaded them as I lost the thread after the whole administration thing etc After reading a few posts further up about embroidery issues, I think mine might be a bit too much also!
  3. Ah yeah I remember! Had me confused there, thought I was trippin! Yeah you may actually be right, he normally does a 10 or 12 week training camp, so it might well be August, he just said they we're looking at late July as a possibility.. but to be fair to him, his next fight is the last thing on his mind right now, so he may well be wrong
  4. Yeah I've heard that being mentioned too, I don't know how far along that is though.. Is it ready/would it be ready by then? Ps. Did your username used to be just Skelf, or has it always been SkelfMeister?
  5. Well said mate, I was there and I was ragin when they sang just can't get enough , the group who started it were sitting at the other end of the place to me and I thought thank god there not near me.. then before I knew it most of the bloody arena was singing it! Had a wee look around and you could see a few of us bears, just sitting, looking around at each other, all clearly thinking 'fannies' There's no need for it at all though, true what they say though, you just can't take the bheasts anywhere! Spoke to Ricky on Sunday, says Mitchell is shouting about fight at Upton Park in June, but Rickys getting married at the end of April so its too close.. instead his team are trying for Mitchell at Airdrie Stadium late July. Apparently they were in talks with Airdrie at the weekend there, and the outcome was positive.. hopefully it goes ahead!
  6. I wonder if everyone saying these scarves arn't out colours and that we should stick to blue, white and red, are equally as opposed to the many orange scarves we see inside Ibrox? I don't understand the level of abuse being directed towards this whole thing. Sure, yeah not the full 100% goes to Rangers but something is going to Rangers, and that something is better than nothing! Everything we buy from Rangers, replica tops to flags & scarves, and DVDs to wee bloody rubber ducks, not 100% of that goes to the club, so should we not buy this stuff too? OK now we have, or shortly will have, the RFFF as an alternative in which the full 100% goes to the club, (but as someone said you also have Paypal charges to pay for that. So not necessarily 100%) but that doesn't mean we stop all other revenues of money going to the club in order to give it to the RFFF. Say we're not out of this mess by next season, is everyone who thinks buying a scarf is a stupid idea going to save their £40 that they would maybe normally spend on a new replica top and give it to the RFFF instead? I just think every penny going to the club right now should be welcomed, what these guys have done is fantastic and I applaud them for getting up and doing something!
  7. 3 goals coming from corners! We really need a dead ball expert like Albertz or Geo again!
  8. This season I really like this one.. Although this is my all time fave non Rangers top..
  9. Yeah I understand mate, the only reason I do it is because they two are my mates. Dont pay to watch any other boxer. How come you had to give up your ticket? You missed a great nite, The Kelvin Hall was jumpin, the atmosphere was amazin (something which the Braehead Arena has yet to replicate) probably my best nite I've had going to boxing, was on the tele n everything jumpin about like a mad man with my top off! ha btw, read in the paper today Warren is wanting Scott Harrison's come back fight on the undercard.
  10. ano mate, but think that's the standard price these days. My mate brophs has not long turned pro and he had two fights in November, one was jus 7 fights between boxers who like him had not long been pro, ther was no headline or anythin, and the other was on the undercard of the limond and corolla fight, and both of those were 40 quid a ticket too
  11. that was my first thought when he told me but the guy does have a good record, I mean one loss in 29 fights isn't bad at all! And as you said a former world champ so it should be a decent fight, lookin forward to it! And with regards to Mitchell, that's who i was hoping for this time around, think it wud be a cracking fight! And to the guy who asked bout ticket prices, it's the same as normal for braehead, cheapest at 40 quid ranging up to 125
  12. Paulus Moses confirmed as Ricky Burns opponent on 10th of March at Braehead. Slightly disappointed, was hoping for a bit of a bigger name.. still a tough fight though. Thoughts?
