Sensible signing. Physicallity and can play a number of positions but also mainly right back where Tav needs not only competition but a reliable back up. If he can prove reliable then its a good option for rotation. Tav was fucked at the start of the season and when competing on all fronts, it will be good to give him a rest from time to time or be able to bring Sterling on for 30+ mins etc.

I’m going to miss him going absolutely mental at cunts

He should stay on as a coach as I think he’d be good to still have around. Maybe a player/coach type of role but only so he counts as a homegrown third keeper in a Euro squad (like Scott Carson at City) 
 

You can't call McGregor a bell end when comparing him to Goram 
McGregor for me, probably just my age. Goram was finished due to his lifestyle and in our 10 in a row season it was very evident, his decline was very instant. McGregor was a massive part of 55 and stopping their 10 and was arguably the best keeper in Scotland at 39 years old.

Could argue a full back that can defend and cut out a cross is exactly what we need against the tarriers given they target our full backs. 

Sterling an interesting one. Stoke fans don’t seem to rate him highly at all going forward. But seems he is very good defensively. (0 goals and 0 assists as a full back in 28 matches).
Doesn’t obviously fit our style. Maybe Beale signing him to play as part of a back 3. Maybe try and make him into a CB like Bassey. Or maybe just for his versatility and ability to cover RB, LB and CB.
But can’t see him starting at either rb or lb for us at least in our current system

I don’t think he’s setting the heather alight for them either, ultimately I think he’s a weakness in their team particularly on the ball that we rarely exploit 
We should be aiming to have a better keeper than them
