  1. I am not sure how he fulfilled his evening but he was at a party, a few days after an old firm defeat... Which according to you is a big no no and all ex managers and ex players said never happened... Idiot!
  2. Well the next time your out in town (Glasgow), im not sure how old you are actually, but if you ever go to a karaoke bar or if there is a jukebox or a band playing, ask them to put PA on. Ive been out many a time and tried to come up with ways to sing songs that have add ons (big bad bigot) and been told no as its a "Rangers Song" in fact there is loads that I've been told we arent allowed to sing/play...STB, PA, Sweet Caroline, I think we're alone now, Let it be... Although the last one is because we just sung Stevie G rather than let it be 😄
  3. The debate was never whether or not it was a celtic song though, it was whether or not it was a rebel song, for me there is clear difference! People asked how context was important and I gave exampled of how context should be relevant, but I am not having that STB/PA arent Rangers songs... Maybe in other parts of the world but I am pretty sure that anyone with an interest in Scottish football would class them both as Rangers songs.
  4. Cause you're a fucking half wit thats why!! " Every ex-player and manager I’ve ever heard has said that you don’t go out the week after an old firm defeat." I actually met Walter Smith and his wife a few days after we lost at Ibrox (the Samara's pk one) they were out for dinner celebrating a friends birthday, how does that fit into your theory?
  5. I am aware of that, I had hoped it would help the half wits on here to understand the fact that the manager has literally left the country to get away from it all i.e lie low. I've no idea how the fuck the Oscars have came into the discussion, there's a little bit of a difference between attending a beach bar and joining in with a band that are playing, and attending on of the most showbiz/publicised events on the planet. Had it not been for one of 2 people giddy on their phones, noone would have been any the wiser that he was there...again laying low...but you keep dreaming about Gerrard going to the Oscars of whatever it is your actually on about...
  6. Admittedly it appears that some on here are far more familiar with rebel songs that I am, I had to look up the lyrics etc to see what the fuss was about, but as far as I can tell the only thing "rebel" about the song is the chants of "oh ah up the Ra"? As for STB and PA being comparable, people shouting FTP and the IRA/fuck the IRA doesnt make it comparable?
  7. Going abroad, to another country, isnt lying low??
  8. Again 10 out of 10 for effort but its a bit hard to watch mate. 24-36 hours is said about 5 times in the opening 3mins, you are either surprised by everything or its weird and to top it off you think that the game on Sunday was crying out for Docherty to play instead of Aribo?! I dont think its for me.
  9. The number of people that dont "get" this is criminal! haha
  10. I dont agree with that! I didnt know it was a rebel song but I could have still sung exactly what is heard/seen in the video, I even know that the next line has something about on the way to paradise or something in it. I have had celtic supporting mates join in with Simply the best and penny arcade etc for a laugh and at my father in laws 60th he forced me and my brother into singing that Rod Stewart pish about them, again I didnt know half of the words, but I knew enough to keep him happy. As others have mentioned its all about context, but him singing a song years before he was even linked with us, or potentially even at Kilmarnock, doesnt bother me in the slightest.
  11. Fair play to folk trying this sort of thing but when the is folk standing talking to a camera inside their house with a hat and jacket on I knew it wasnt for me.
  12. To be fair, it was a cracking 15mins from the lad! haha
  13. No it wasnt! Katic was on the grass praying when one of their players had a go at him (the same guy Katic has shouted at earlier for going down too easy, they had a running battle all game) and Katic got up and started shouting at him and it kicked off from there.
  14. Katic done well but they were terrified of Jones running at them! Tried to double up and then stand off him, which gave him the room to cross, and it was some ball in. Brilliant goal!
  15. My phone cut out before I could send the rest of it... The point in making is that you are asking the wingers to stay wide and take advantage of a 1vs1 situation, like they did against Hibs, but the 1st goal came from a rebounded Ojo shot, that he hit from the middle of the pitch...the 2nd goal...good work from Jones who plays it through for Ojo (the guy supposed to be on the right) who again has ran from the middle of the pitch and he cuts it back for Defoe...the freekick Tav nearly scores, comes from a foul won by Ojo again in the middle of the pitch...the 3rd goal comes from a ball in by Davis but again there is no one on the right other than Tav, Ojo is right in the middle of the goal having tucked in from his wide position... Although at times the wide midfielders are getting some success in 1vs1s by staying outwide, there is also no doubt that we are creating a lot of chances by having the wingers tuck in, especially on the right. Last night game again proved this...Ojo got a lot of chances down the left but if you look at where the balls came from or even watch the build up, there is noone hugging the right wing other than Tav. For the first goal arfield is right in the middle of the pitch when he plays Ojo through...the 2nd goal again is the same, arfield is the main man but it comes from a more central position and Ojo scores as hes ran inside...the 3rd goal is brilliant play from Ojo but look at Arfields position, hes right behind Morelos all the time theres noone other than Tav on the right hand side. Im all for improving the team, but the one thing I wouldnt be changing is what we are doing in midfield and wide areas!
  16. I couldnt disagree more! Arfield playing inside allows more space for the FBs to go forward, especially on the right hand side. I dont know if you have read the entire thread but look at the heat map and average position of the players against Hibs, Ojo was on "on the right" but his average position was more behind the striker, again tucking in to allow space for Tav to overlap! Jones done well against Hibs but of the goals scored, the first was the rebound from Ojo's
  17. I'm all for laughing at the cunt but it was number 20 that made the big fuck up for the first goal last night, not him.
  18. I'm not sure if he just looks small or if he was small compared to the other defenders but his national team profile has him at 6ft1 which isnt that small!
  19. Arfield is playing in the same position/role that he was at the end of last season when he was brilliant for us, which isnt as a wide midfielder... Gerrard was asked about this last season and answered pretty resoundingly that Arfield is not playing out wide - 7:55 in the video below! I would agree though, I dont think his best position is out wide, but at his time with Burnley and Huddersfield (over 300 games) he played 90% of his games as a wide attacking midfielder, so you cant say he cant play there! Thankfully for your sake and mine, the manager isnt playing him out wide so we dont need to worry about it 😄
  20. Been trying for over an hour and its not working....shambles!
  21. What is it exactly that you are looking for him to do? What has he done/not done this time?
  22. Going in a few weeks, cannot wait!!!
  23. Assjacks every one of them!!
  24. Surely it is the position he holds that got the invite and not the man he is? It would have been easy for us to shun him because of the team he supports but for me this just shows we are above that!
