    He was a risk when we bought him with his injury record. Moving forward I don’t think Clement will take the same gamble with these type of players.

    Looking at the age range Clement has brought in already he will probably be looking for young hungry forwards he can develop. The scouting has to be spot on to find these players. Need to stop throwing money at average players and expecting decent returns.

    Disappointing to go out. Lot of fight and work rate but little quality upfront. As good as Benfica were on the ball they have a soft centre we didn’t have the quality to expose. Onwards and upwards domestically 👍
