  1. where's that then? the only position i can recall him being even vaguely useful for us before was cf, and of the strikers we have he'd be last to get a game if it was up to me.
  2. met the goalie and bomber at ibrox in the hospitality bit, both really cool and very funny when i spoke to them, but the goalie tried to start a fight with my dad's pal ian mcdonald (formerly of partick thistle) after mac said something negative about our performance on the day, and goram got asked to leave

    Your Legend...

Mine is: Name: Huistra Age : 19 Position: WF / SMF / CF Current Club: Espanyol History: Started at Sporting, then moved to Porto at 1st transfer window as they actually play wingers. Moved to Espanyol after 1 year. Just turned 19, scored the only goal in win over Barca Apart from that have half a dozen assists, havn't scored any others since I played for Porto though. Anyone managed to get any stars (special abilities, whatever u call them) yet? I thought i might get something like that for scoring against Barca (as its a derby match for Espanyol) but didnt.
  4. Alexander: reliable - 7 Broadfoot: a few mistakes going forward, looked solid in defence - 6 Bougherra: calm and collected, good distribution - 7 Weir: a few bad decisions, below his normal standards- 6 Dailly: pathetic- 4 Beasley: lacks confidence, very frustrating to watch - 6 Thomson: again, below his normal standards - 6 Mendes: got kicked of the park for the first 10 minutes, was fairly quiet after that - 6 Davis: all over the pitch, a real dynamo. 2 crap shots in the 1st half but got the goal in the second (and won me £30 - 9 Boyd: couldnt be bothered, but still looked likely to score - 6 Miller: a lot of work but several good chances wasted - 6 Novo: on off the bench, looked sharp, should have started - 7
  5. yeah, boyd was pretty pish today, but miller was never going to score, some absolutely appalling finishing from him, and no matter how bad boyd is i still get excited any time he has the ball near the box, hes easily our best goal threat. personally id play boyd & novo up front, novo can do anything miller can do, and he's a much better finisher.
  6. we need to wait and see how mcgregor reacts, hopefully he's no a sulker. alexander did well though, credit to him he's been very good whenever we've called on him.
  7. I was amused when Paul Merson on Sky Sports News was saying Walcott gets into good positions, but has "no final product" Thats what you get for letting alkies do ur analysis

    Facebreaker

Anybody get this? new boxing game by EA. I'm just wondering how it compares to Fight Night - obviously a lot more arcadey/cartoony, but are the controls similar? any longevity in 1 player or pretty much only fun in 2 player? would appreciate thoughts...
  9. their level is excusing and accepting child abuse, we're nowhere near that thank you very much.
  10. Well said. I think Ibrox is a huge part of it personally, the place looks magnificent anyway, and when you add the atmosphere created at any big game, there would be very few people who could experience that and say we're not an extraordinary club. the Tattiedome just doesnt compare.
  11. i'm even more delighted that we've manage too build such a quality team, for me just a couple of defenders off the best i could reasonably expect, and reduce our debts at the same time.
  12. FFS sell him, dont want him sulking for another season :angry2:
  13. I just counted them and I get 17 Boyd counts as two these days. is that coz of his size or goal scoring record? nah, that would be him and his ego
