  1. Isn't Bresciano off to Qatar or somewhere?
  2. if he's been voted POTY last year at the PROPER and exlusive rangers forum, and this year in the GREAT R.M by the forumists themselves, surely he appears among the top 5 greatest..................that's if not top of the list Bougherra isn't even our best defender in the last 3 years. Dont want to jump on the Bougherra bashing train but thanks to a certain 40 year old its debatable to whether he's even the best defender at the club now...
  3. I like the style but I dont think that picture will do it justice. It's a very poor quality photograph, I'd imagine it'll look smarter in real life. Like the idea of a long sleeve version without any sponsor, very retro.
  4. :mcgregor: :whittaker: :weir: :broadfoot: :ssmith: :davis: :edu: :mcculloch: :lafferty: :boyd: :miller: I think thats what we'll see. Maybe Lafftery up top instead of Boyd and Novo wide left.
  5. That was really an amazing win for McIlroy. He only just made the cut (+1) then shot -16 over the weekend! How is he thought of over in America? I'd imagine very highly now but how was he thought of before that win?
  6. It's not like Hutton blootered the ball off the guys head!
  7. Lovely wee bit of cheating from Higian there.
  8. Conways deliver is frightenly good. I think he'd really flourish in our team. I also really think that Smith would get the best out of Goodwillie. They may command a wee bit of money but I'd be pretty happy if we got them.
  9. I think this too. A big factor in not winning the Masters was lack of tournament practise. He will be playing Quail Hollow before the US Open so I think he thinks this way as well. After a while longer to get back into the flow I think he'll come back a better player than before.
  10. Not even close. Fergie, in his prime, could have potentially played in any team in the world. As much as I like Davis, and he could become an even better player, he's got a long way to go before being considered to be as good as fergie.
  11. The possession thing may well be true but it isn't about possession. If Arsenal can keep it tight at the back and press the midfield I think Barca could struggle to score. With Abidal only just returning and only having played 1 game he wont quite be 100% and while I actually think Walcott can be pretty pish both Abidal and Maxwell will dread him running at them. I actually think Barca will still win, I just don't think it'll be the romp that some people seem to think.
  12. I heard someone say he could run the 100m in 10.3s PISH! That was on SSN earlier and to be fair the boy is rapid. If he can run it in 10.3s that would make him the 12 fastest Brit over that distance ever!
  13. Abidal is good but not great. Whenever I've seen Busquets he's been the poorest in the team. Thats not exactly saying he's not very good because it'd not exactly easy to be better than Iniesta, Xavi, Messi etc but you get my point. I just don't think he's at that standard.
  14. I'd imagine it'd be something like that as well and to be honest it's not thatstrong. Milito hasn't been fantastic since his return, Marquez is very very meh, Abidal isn't great either and has been out a while. It's already been shown that if Walcott plays he has the beating of Maxwell. I personally think Busquets is nowhere near Barca quality, he got found out in the first leg. Keita's good but not that good. Other than a pretty good finisher Bojan isn't very good. I dont see it being anything like a 3/4/5-0 trouncing that people are predicting. I'm not sure what injuries Arsenal have but is it too far off to assume their team will be something like: Almunia Sagna Cambell Vermalen Clichy Nasri Denilson Diaby (is he fit?) Walcott Bendtner Rosicky That could be well off actually. Either way, they wont just bend over. They will obviously have to play very well but they are very capable.
  15. Doesn't mean that much to be honest. I was up at the practise rounds for the Open at Turnberry and he was really amazing, then went on to miss the cut. For what it's worth I dont think he'll win either, however if he's still in with a shout come the final round it'll be interesting to see how that effects the leaders. In the past they would typically crumble, does he still have that effect? I'd think yes. Villegas at 40/1, Schwartzel at 50/1 and O'hair at 50/1 will be my bets. Wont rule out Mickleson, Els, Striker etc though. Hope McIlroy has a good run.
  16. He probably could become a decent player for someone eventually but I dont think it'll ever happen here. Take the money and run. I actually think Walter would take that. People seem to think the management will pick him no matter what but the truth of the matter is they have publically slated his performances and left him out the squad completely in recent weeks.
  17. Is it just insinct that makes people abuse Lafferty?
  18. Dougie McDonald is possibly the worst ref I've ever seen. This game has been a joke in terms of officiating.
  19. We need a better outball. Utd are pressing very high up the pitch.
  20. The long ball will not work with Little up top against Dodds and Kenneth.
  21. If it is Naismith in centre mid instead of Fleck I'd imagine that would be to match the work rate of the Utd. midfield. Fleck wont do the tracking back that Naismith does.
  22. are they fuck Fulham were by far and away the better team tonight.
  23. What a goal from Dempsey! 4-1 on the night, 5-4 overall!
