Every game I watch that he's in charge of he makes a major gaff. I also think he's one of the ones that wants to make the headlines.

Both Miller and Boyd have been poor of late but both are returning from injuries. A wee bit of time and they'll both be back to banging them in. People always seem to expect injured playeres to just step back in and perform right away!

Celtic force Falkirk Pitch inspection
GersDude90 replied to nvager's topic in General Football & Sport
They really are just building up excuses for when they drop points. Its the same with all this "ref's are cheats" pish. It's so when they lose the league thats what they'll fall back onto. It's actually pathetic. These are grown men in the celtic board acting like 4 year olds. -
Who would your Player of the Year be?
GersDude90 replied to trueblue79's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Think people have understated Kenny Miller's importance to this team. He's probably having the season of his life! That said it has to be Davis. -

Keane is desperate for Boughie to be sent off. There was a touch there but there was no need to fly 3 foot in the air. Could've been a red for N'Guemo? Any intent in that? -

So you feel it wasn't, sir? I am quite interested to hear your response. I dont think anyone on this board said that wasn't a pen and you come out with a comment like that -

Surely if they need to win its playing into our hands? We've shown already how easy it is to break through their backline, I'm confident we'll score. Lafferty really needs to step it up. He's actually done nothing of value the whole game. He needs to learn to play the simple ball and not have to take 40000 touches before doing so. I'd think Novo would come on before Beasley and I doubt it'd be at half time. Walter will give Lafferty 15/20 mins after what was hopefully words of encouragement/a good bollocking. -

Super pass by Boyd there. Unlucky Miller. Lafferty needs to sharpen up fast. -
Met him a wee while ago when he was in Glasgow and he looks comfortably fit enough to play!
-
Weir knows his body and what it can cope with better than anyone. He's also not stupid. If he feels he's not up to playing a game to the best of his ability he'd say so. The league is so so vital this year so it's not a time for switching about the defensive partnership, even if it is to get Wilson games.

Who's the most consistent player in our team?
GersDude90 replied to lewisrfc93's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I don't get why people are saying Papac... Are you just going by that tag that he seems to have picked up? He's had more than a handful of utter trash games this season. No one has really been that consistant this season. I'd probably say McGregor. -
I was just reading through the thread thinking the same thing! People saying "thats what you get for going into town"?! I don't understand some people...
-
McGeady's goal wasn't that good, straight down the middle and because of all the body's in the box the goalie was unsighted. Whittakers goal involved great passing, movement, poise and accuracy. Much, much better goal!
-
Yesterday showed that Edu will need plenty of game time to get up to spead. He seemed to take an age to release any pass and it put us into trouble. Kinda similar to Thomson, with a bit of time he'll get back to his best.

Would you like to see Bougherra moved to right back?
GersDude90 replied to kyle's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Teams know how to deal with an attacking right back. They have players briefed on and dedicated to taking care of and attacking fullback. They don't know what to do about an attacking CB though. -

The thought of Ronaldinho running at Rafael must surely be a worry for UTD? The whole UTD defence could have a real problem if Pata and Dinho perform the way they can. On top of that with Huntelaar being somewhat unpredictable it could be quite interesting. -
He'd go and be 3rd choice at best. Puyol wont be dropped for him and Pique has been immesne the last couple of seasons.

Little and Beasley shine in bounce game
GersDude90 replied to TheGypsyKing's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Was it not 1 Million Krone? Which is about £100 000 ish. -
No matter how well he's played recently, in the champions league and the ACON, I think our current financial situation will have a strong bearing on his value. If we were in a strong situation we could be looking at a serious offer for him but any club will know our situation and are unlikely to fire in a massive bid.
-
It's brilliant that we've not conceded more than 1 goal in any league game this season. Thats really impressive!

Did McGregor play the first game? I think he did so I'd imagine he's start. Broadfoot needs game time so I'd rest Whittaker. Smith has started to look pretty decent so this should be another chance for him. Thomson needs game time so no point in resting him, same with Beasley. Great to have Fleck back and Lafferty deserves a start. Boyd needs more games too. Walter doesn't like to play about with the centre of defence too much, even for cup games, which I can see some merit in. Wilson did struggle a little with the threat of Higdon and Memhet so I'm not too bothered if Weir plays. McGregor Broadfoot Bougherra Weir Smith Beasley Davis Thomson Fleck Lafferty Boyd -
Lee McCulloch makes himself available for Scotland duty again
GersDude90 replied to Boab's topic in General Football & Sport
Scotland need all the players they cant get. All this "He isnt needed" is rubbish IMO. He's hardly a world beater but he's been one of our better players of late and would add something to a Scotland squad. -
Pish. One of the biggest arguments against Boyd was that it isnt all about goals, well here that goes in his favour.
-
I think it might be quite comfortable. Maybe not the game but the scoreline. I think we'll win by 2, probably a 3-1. We wont start the way we did against Motherwell. I think we'll start with a bang and get an early goal. What happens next however....
