I've kind of been the same this year and can't get a Gers game going. Had a few successes in other games won the Welsh League with Abersywth but at 34 the game is finally starting to slip from importance after 20 years. About to try a game with an lower end English Championship or top end of Div 1 team.

Hi Guys, I am planning on creating a updated database for FM14 with all the players from the Rangers Hall of Fame included in the current team. I have different plans for using different ages for the different era's so that the squad is filled in with players that will progress. Problem I have at moment is finding the exact positions for some of the players. I was wondering if anyone has the Rangers results spreadsheet kicking about or know somewhere I can download it so that I can try and use this to help? Once I have created the database of course I'll link it on the site as well. Thanks in advance anyone that can help.

I've said for years that we should be scouring somewhere like Scandanavia, to the NW of Europe. You normally get at least one top quality player a year coming out of the countries of Iceland, Finaland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Holland (maybe to big for us) and Belgium. We should have a system in place were we are in the hunt and snapping up these players as they emerge and then bring them on further for another 3-5 years and then selling them at a large profit. Dutch clubs have being doing it for years, and Portugese clubs also with more the South American market. When we get back to the top we will have to become a selling club to substain ourselves, but if you look over clubs have being doing it for years and with sucess we just aint joined the race.
