The Blue Ranger got a reaction from Dickie1963 in Mark Allen Interview
Lets be honest here, Allen and Gerrard are doing a stellar job recruitment wise.
We will reap the benefits of this when 55 comes and it will be so sweet to see the mhanky mob crumble under the pressure we will put on them in the coming months.
I expect to see Goldson, Katic and Barasic in our starting 11 for years to come until EPL clubs come knocking.. which they no doubt will if they continue to develop.
The jury is out on Grezda, if we have paid as much for him as reported then I will keep my fingers crossed he comes good but if we're trying to take Kent on a permanent deal then it may result in perhaps Middleton going out on loan which may not be a bad thing. The boy needs game time under a good man management coach.
We have plenty of dig in the middle now, Jack, Arfield, Rossiter (when fit) and McCrorie. Davis will bring that missing bit of guile and sly passes to cut open defenses and when Dorrans finally returns this will give the gaffer a major headache when it comes to selections.
I still think we need another CB, who is ours, and not on loan. And now with the additions of Jones and Kamara we are looking in a much better position than the start of the season.
Even saying that, we have "four quality forwards" to work with. Morelos, Defoe, Lafferty and Hardie (who is one I had always hoped would make the grade.

The futures bright, the futures Red, White and Blue.
55 is coming home and when it does it'll be the culmination of all of our heartache and disappointment over the last 7 years.

That’s exactly what the majority of strikers leading the line alone in a team with a high press do though 🤷🏼‍♂️

Dear "Family" if I may call you all family, excuse the title of the thread but it takes me back to the fateful day (v Kilmarnock just after liquidation was announced) and no doubt like many others I stood with tear filled eyes listening to that song being played thinking my god what has happened to my beloved Glasgow Rangers, well as you all know since then my own circumstances have been affected pretty badly by the horrible C word and I have had a pretty hellish time this past while. My second last visit to see my consultant didn't really go very well with the news that there had been a slight further spread in my bowel of the dreaded "C" well after more treatment and scans I returned (yesterday Friday) to see who I class is truly a very very special (rugby supporting) person and receive the news that the "Spread Has Stopped and The Worst PART has SHRUNK" by quite a bit. As I mentioned previously I hope with all my heart to return to Ibrox soon and there will be a scoreboard announcement saying "Falkirk BEAR is BACK" and I will sit quietly in my seat again yes no doubt with tears in my eyes saying to myself yes things are Alright. To you all my dear Rangers family I thank you all from the bottom of my heart just for caring and taking the time to send messages which you will never ever know just how much they meant to me these past months.??????????????????????

We've had  7 years dealing with turmoil, vindictiveness, and revenge of those who were jealous of our success   and downright hatred shown towards us by almost every senior football club in Scotland, their fans and management. Then we had the common purpose to destroy us shown by various taig minded and otherwise Rangers hating cabals within the ranks of political parties, Government bodies especially HMRC, and in particular ncluding various Snp and Labour minded politicians with strong personal agendas. On top of that we also had the haters in the various media outlets in Scotland who did not show any impartiality or restraint in showing their true colours of hatred  toward us.
Yet our support base have stayed loyal, staunch and dignified on the whole, (an attitude focused, embodied and personified by one of the greatest Rangers of our times Sandy Jardine, a very decent an honourable man, who we idolised and respected as a spokesman for our fanbase).
Of course the Hibs game was the only exception where we reacted,  mainly because  even stronger provocation and hatred of all things Rangers was allowed to spill on to the park when uncontrolled Hibs fans were given virtual freedom to run amok in our faces  and taunt us at a time they should only have been celebrating their own victory. They  even attacked players of our own club and officials at the match without condemnation or suitable punishment, and acted so far beyond any decency in the sporting sense, it thus became an event amongst the  most shameful in our country's great sporting heritage, yet left improperly punished by the so called "sporting" authorities in Scotland.
Quite simply our support has been magnificent (contrast with dundee united fans abandoning ship for example, or the fact that most of the clubs who allowed their fans opinion to influence their decisions  on our unjustified "punishments"  subsequently  watched those fans leaving in droves when the Rangers no longer came along to give them the glamour they craved and the financial support their clubs depended on.)
So in the most difficult of times for our club the one rock that has provided the stability to hold the mighty Rangers Football Club together has been our support.
Stay loyal, but just as importantly stay staunch to your own sense of pride and dignity in being a Rangers fan. It is our heritage and belief, and that heritage and belief will allow us to return again and continue our great achievement. Never, ever lower yourself to the self righteous, blinkered, victim status of those football fans who congregate on the east side of Scotland's greatest city and never react to their provocation. Do not lower yourself to the corrupt actions or taunts of those wannabees.
We are Rangers, we keep our pride in being the greatest sporting institution in British football history, and the most successful in the world and we keep our ethic, sportsmanship and dignity.  An ethic sportsmanship and sporting dignity that goes all the way back to the days of our founding fathers.
And most importantly we will remain the proudest and most dignified, because in the best of times and the worst of times we have set the standard of continued support and faith in our club for the world to see.

I do want the best. It the best of "what" we disagree with. I don't think grinding out turgid 1-0 wins with the players terrified to misplace a pass or make a mistake is the best of anything...yes that will attract a new breed of fans won't it!
I've been fortunate enough to watch 9IAR, and the Advocaat era and all I ever wanted after about season 5 in 9IAR was success in Europe. I remember winning one title and it was just expected, it was no big deal, hardly any celebration at all...I look back now and realise what an absolute tit I was.
It doesn't matter what we have we always want more...If we're not winning we need to win every game...once we win almost every game...we need to win every game in style. If we win 2-1 it should have been 4 or 5....after all it's only Scotland.
I want the team to play attractive , effective, possession football. I want that philosophy from bottom to top...to start with the youth teams. I want them to have been playing that way for 6 years before those good enough even make the first team. I want us to bring in players who suit that style...all comfortable on the ball.
If the results suffer in the short to medium term then so be it, I've had almost everything else as a Rangers fan and it was never enough...so perhaps this will be

Don't dip your pen in poisoned ink then, simple eh!
We're not looking to be an exceptional case, just treated with parity and fairness.
We have been media battered for years with impunity as if they were trying to outdo each other with bitterness.
    Tough shit bigot.
