O'Donnell is a god awful decision. Average defender and no other attributes. 
Clarke trying to defend him by saying his priority is to defend and he did nothing wrong in that sense. Apart from that being utter bollocks as he was part of the problem for both goals. We play with wing backs, so his priority isn't just defending, our wing backs are our width. He's utter shite going forward and just means we focus everything down the left. 

Would have dropped O'Donnell and kept Armstrong in over McGregor, but other than that some positive changes.

Yes they are big clubs but Leicester have won the same number of EPLs as Liverpool in the last 30 years. How long since Spurs last won a league. Arsenal are barely in the top half of the league. It’s a joke and makes a mockery of sporting competition. We as a club took our medicine a few years ago and it was harsh but I’d heavily fine and relegate all of these clubs and make them work their way back and appreciate the game and the responsibility of what they represent and have. These clubs are now the enemy of football and is a perfect example of why I’ve lost interest in watching lots of other games now. It’s a cabal and a disgrace. Think the OP is bang on. Players shoe horned in. It nullified our two most threatening players in Morelos and Kent which was plain to see from early on. I don't blame Gerrard for trying it but he should have changed things in the first half.
