  4. Is this a sign that Wlad and Haye have come to terms for an early 2011 fight?! Here's hoping.
  5. I'd encourage them to take Joe Kinnear back for his press conferences alone. I think the word c*nt is under used by managers these days when talking to the media.
  6. A shame. After years of having a reputation of a wanky club with delusions of grandeur, Hughton brought a bit of dignity and integrity to the club IMO. I was impressed at how he quietly got on with getting them promoted by fostering a TEAM ethic, unlike the rag tag collection of prima donnas they'd been previously. Similarly, in the Premiership his team have held their own against other teams with arguably more star power than his own. All based on that team spirit he seems to have engendered. Now of course, it's time for the owners to cast him aside, because they seemingly don't trust him with the undoubtedly massive 'warchest' (as the papers put it) that they are about to unleash for a spate of over priced, overrated prima donnas who care for nothing other than lining their own pockets until a better deal comes along. Bravo, Newcastle. Let's hope you sink right back down again, and Hughton goes on to greater success.

  8. Time for a cheeky Friday bottle of champagne, I think. RIP.
  9. Bang on (excuse the pun). Same baton-happy attitude imo.
  10. Fair enough, but the carabinieri (rather than the other police forces; polizia statale, vigili urbani or guardia di finanze) are absolutely brutal. Many of the carabinieri are young men serving their year of compulsory military service, they are more paramilitaries than Law enforcement. I mean, Blimey; in recent years units have been dispatched on peacekeeping missions, including Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
  11. Never met the Italian Police then pal?'Provocation' is not a term they understand. 'Charge in formation' is.
  12. Watch the last few seconds. ITALIAN POLICE ARE A DISGRACE.
