There isn't anything wrong with what he said, doesn't mean he should say it though. The board do not have a public opinion on the playing squad or manager. These things are private matters, anything else causes division. It's not for Charles Green to come out and heap pressure on Ally, because that's what he's done here, Charles Green's job is to advise the Rangers board. The manager should have the full backing of the board in public: they can have any opinion they want in private and they can make as many demands as they want. None of this is behaviour fitting of a Ranger.
