I might be being naive here, he did talk a lot of shit in that interview but I think deep down he’s seething and he knows who he can’t trust.. ie tav etc but knows what can he do about it right now? All he can do is not throw them under the bus and try just keep them on side while where mathematically still in with a shout. I think he will be ruthless in the summer (I pray) with out going’s.. as much as it’s gone to shit these last few weeks, I think he’s proven he’s capable of being the right man going forward. He needs the summer to rebuild, I don’t have a fucking clue what resources we will be working with but non the less he needs the summer to rebuild and even then it’s not gonna be perfect in one window

When the pressures been on, when have this core squad ever delivered a meaningful performance? all well and good getting good results in Europe when your underdogs and the pressure ain’t on, but when it is they make fucking hard work of it every single time

There’s fuck all ruthlessness in this team, they just think all they have to do is turn up and they’ll manage to get the 3 points somehow every week they don’t go into games looking to fucking slaughter teams for 90 minutes and that’s the issue. Every couple of months that attitude bites you on the arse, and in this two horse race you can’t afford to drop those points
