  1. We’ve just lost a cup final to our biggest rivals and he’s going on about a guy who isn’t our most recent ex manager let alone our current manager. Never a Rangers fan
  2. Can’t believe it took going 2 behind to actually show a hint of urgency in a cup final.
  3. Hopefully we start to show a bit more ambition and energy in the 2nd half. We didn’t seem to be first to many second balls and we need to get in their faces a bit more. Apart from Sakala we don’t seem to take any of their players on. Taylor, Starfelt and Johnston don’t strike me as being that good defenders. Why not try and expose this?
  4. They look quite happy to sit back and soak everything up and try to hit us on the break. Need to be a bit more direct and have players willing to go past their defenders rather than try play through them/pass sideways.
  5. Bit of a let off there. We look devoid of ideas to break them down worryingly
  6. Schoolboy defending. Won’t win anything of note with a GK and defence like ours is.
  7. Devine needs to be careful. Keeps getting caught wrong side, and they seem dangerous on break
  8. Big mistake this. I hate Ross Wilson and this Board - they don’t conduct themselves with any dignity or common sense. They clearly made their mind up on Beale when he came up for the Aberdeen game and it’s been brewing for weeks which made an already difficult situation for Gio next to impossible. Also no way he interviews (assuming we actually even reached out to other candidates) better or is more qualified than likes of Dyche and Seaone yet here we are. Wouldn’t be surprised if we are in the same position as this by next Christmas.
  9. Nah Beale came up and whored himself out in person. Both of them cut from same cloth imo.
  10. I wonder if the board get Beale they think it will persuade Kent and Morelos to sign new deals? They actually may look at the appointment/compensation package to QPR as a financial investment in that instance to protect these “sellable” assets. Just so scunnered with the idea of Beale. Need to get someone who can breathe a bit of fresh air into the club. Not go down the old routes
  11. I’d be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when it came to leaving us. If we didn’t offer him the job - the alternative would have been wait and probably be let go by Gio as he wanted to bring in his back room team. However, I‘m concerned about him coming to us and leaving QPR. A couple of weeks ago he was giving it the big one with interviews on Talksport, Sky, QPR website saying how he loved the project at QPR. Since then, he has attended one of our games in person with Gio being obviously under pressure - he knew exactly what kind of chat that would cause (all to inflate his own ego) and could be about to walk out on this project he was fully committed to all whilst these interviews are barely put to the back of peoples minds Just doesn’t add up for me - and not sure if he has the integrity, experience or character for this job. Leave him at QPR and see how he does then take it from there. Now is the time to go with a bit of an experienced head and don’t go for the easy option.
  12. Ok that can be counteracted with: He’s only been a manager for 3 months and hardly setting the world alight Will probably be a yes man to Ross Wilson/the board QPRs form has fallen off a cliff since he turned down the approach from Wolves If he comes, it shows his commitment speech that he just made to QPR was a load of shite - can’t be trusted Need to really steer clear of this appointment
  13. Beale not the answer for us imo. Gives me the fear long term and it’s just an appointment which protects Wilson and these players. Need someone that will challenge the direction of the club - Dyche still my first choice
  14. He’s either totally delusional or on the wind up. Think they chucked him off FF for saying there is an argument for Gerrard to be our greatest manager in history. Can’t wait to get a new manager to stop Gerard’s name being mentioned and he can fuck off back to a Liverpool forum.
  15. I reckon we will be put our misery on Monday with Gio with an announcement of a “mutual termination”. Don’t expect anything will be announced tomorrow but believe private discussions will be occurring/have occurred
  16. Any decent manager on this list - Loew, Bielsa & Dyche especially spring to mind won’t work with the amateur board we have. Until we sort this issue out we are always fighting an uphill battle.
  17. I might be wrong here but I actually don’t think Gerrard would even want to come back - this is another reason to let go of this notion. The “reasons” why he left (family and premier league) are still going to be an issue one year down the line from his departure and coming back probably reinforces the failure of that move. Furthermore, most fans also wouldn’t take to it - which SG knows and he doesn’t exactly need the money.
  18. Fingers crossed but with this regime I wouldn’t hold out much hope. GVB has delivered the champions league money the clubs board clearly craved, would be ironic if he was sacked based on him generating that income but if it will cost 6million to sack him and his staff as quoted on other thread I don’t see us doing it this season.
  19. Liverpool 7-1 was the last straw mate. I promised myself I wouldn’t put myself through anymore of GVB. Rangers are my club above any other and I have (and still ploug money into the club via the shop etc) but until people boycott this current regime in my mind nothing will change.
  20. Been wanting GVB gone now for a while. Actually to the point where I won’t watch a game with him in charge anymore - he has no charisma and the football is shoddy so can’t comment on how we played today but it’s been obvious this day has been coming for a while. The one thing I would say though is these players are rotten to the core and are not blameless and are a huge part of the problems at our club. The likes of Kent & Morelos would be nothing without Rangers but now they think they are bigger than our club and a lot of the other players I wouldn’t spit on if they were on fire. Shocking
  21. They’ve just announced Emery. That’s a serious upgrade on Gerrard contrary to what some people in this thread will say
  22. Writing has been on the wall for a while. Unfortunately I think he survives today even if we lost. This board just view us a cash cow and GVB has helped line their pockets massively and is a yes man to boot. Exactly what they want.
  23. He’s no gonna shag you mate. I wouldn’t be adverse to having Gerrard back and appreciate I’m in the minority on that one - but he’s no Pep Guardiola or messiah like you are painting him out to be. And to call him arguably our greatest manager in our history because he went a season undefeated and won 1/9 trophies is frankly ridiculous.
