  1. Keep hearing Kent is better than Abada. When does he produce the numbers Abada does? Gio is not the man for us domestically. CL will keep him in a job for a while as well unfortunately until the league is well and truly gone
  2. Has had one good season since he joined. Shouldve cashed at start of last season now we would be lucky to get more than 1-2 million for him
  3. He will do a job for us to cover for injuries, suspensions, cup runs, rotations etc. We need a squad to win the trophies and he is more than good enough to help us with that.
  4. He likely won’t be the starter and is probably at best 4th choice. He will come good with time I am sure.
  5. Germany 7 Brazil 1 Bayern 8 Barca 2 Augero’s goal vs QPR R9 hat trick vs Man Utd Normally the EFL play offs provide some good moments as well like Deeney vs Leicester, Derby vs Leeds, Luton vs Blackpool some cracking moments in there
  6. Hopefully we learn the lessons of last season and any ‘sellable assets’ are sold if they won’t sign new contracts or indicate they don’t want to be here. Fully expect Goldson, Barisic to be gone and probably Aribo, Kent & Kamara. Hoping we can get another season out of Morelos. Holding onto some of these players I think cost us this year domestically. Goldson, Barisic, Kamara & Kent really had substandard seasons outwith EL run and if we didn’t have European football their value would’ve plummeted massively.
  7. We didn’t play well enough unfortunately tonight. The game rested on a couple of things 1) us shitting the bed when we took the league - which was a stroke of luck in itself 2) that miss from Kent if we managed taking the lead and Kent burying that chance we don’t even make it to pens.
  8. Not a great half but still in it. 45 mins lads give it everything. Some players look blown out their arses after 10 mins. Kamara jogging on that Knauff chance. Unforgivable
  9. BT sports always put it on YouTube live in Hd quality for free. Same with all European finals.
  10. This set of players, the board and the manager(s) have thought they could just turn up this season and win the league without doing the basics right. Absolute arrogance from top to bottom at our club and sleepwalking into giving them a potential treble from where we were last season. If certain players/staff are at this club next year I am at a loss for words
  11. Yet he was a rolls Royce player according to some posters on here last week
  12. Next season, celtic will most likely get papped out in the group stages by finishing bottom and be out of Europe by Christmas. We will be in the Europa finishing 2nd or 3rd and causing ourselves more fixture congestion than celtic by having to play ko’s in Europa League or Conference whilst keeping the coefficient healthy for celtic to reap the rewards domestically
  13. Terrible. These players actually think after last season they have some given right just to turn up to win the league/games. celtic have wanted it more this season which is unforgivable. We deserve everything we get domestically this season which will probably be nothing. Massive clear out needed - whether Gio is the man to oversee this - major questions remain for me.
  14. Looks out his depth and even more worryingly looks like he’s ran out of ideas already to change the course of a game
  15. Maybe can’t cope with the expectation? Dortmund was a free shot as not many were expecting us to advance and that perhaps played into his hands. Even at Feyenoord the expectation was Ajax or PSV would win the league and he came up with the goods then too. Might also be that he doesn’t have a plan for teams which sit back and are happy to get a draw vs us 99% of the time. Things could get worse before they get better but the question is how much more can GVB survive if we continue on this trend?
  16. As I said, I hope you are right and GVB proves me wrong but I’m still to see something which convinces me domestically we are going down the correct path If Postecoglou comes to Scotland and wins the double/treble in first year I am not GVB could survive that and we should be looking at that as a real possibility unfortunately
  17. What do you suggest we do? (Genuine question) Because we know the importance of winning the league this year with the funds available for CL money. I don’t see how we do that under GVB based on current standings/form
  18. Every single game where a team drop points is down to individual/collective errors. When the same players are making these costly errors and are continually being selected, I also hold the manager accountable for them.
  19. If we don’t win the league with the advantage he inherited he shouldn’t (and yes I would hope not as well) be with us. i want him to prove me wrong but the warning signs are clearly there and we should be looking at contingency plans like all big/successful clubs do
  20. With how we have been performing and the form I’m glad GVB hasn’t been backed. Surrendering leads vs Ross County, Aberdeen & Motherwell plus that shite at Parkhead - the warning signs are there and we don’t have to continue down that path. Players & Management need to shoulder that blame
  21. Course, but the outlook isn’t looking good regardless with our away form
  22. Plus also going to Hibs is harder than being at home to Motherwell (although you wouldn’t believe that judging from our inability to beat Motherwell) Fact is we have one less game to turn things around, celtic are now finished with going to likes of Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen whilst we will likely still have negotiate those away grounds after the split. Their run in will be a lot kinder based on fixtures already fulfilled
  23. We aren’t winning this league mate. We’ve turned up in maybe 2 or 3 games all season and the majority of them were in Europe
