  1. In UK Debt Law, loans can become "Statute Barred" after 6 years. If no correspondence between lender and and beneficiary occurs during this time and no repayments have been made, the debt becomes legally Time Barred. This means that although the loan is still there it is legally unenforceable through a court of law, this means that if the MIH Trust does request money from ex players/staff for this time, then the ex players/staff have no legal need to pay it back. If it is different with EBT deals then I am sure somebody will pick up on it.
  2. here is a link for all Div 3 games so far this season http://stats.football365.co.uk/dom/SCO/D3/attend.html, interesting to see the average gates of other teams in Div 3, bottom three have not had a visit from the Bears yet
  3. Truly moving, thanks to the Op for us Bears who could not be there, lest we forget
  4. Thank God for that there is only so much time you can spend on ff
  5. To the Op, here is a link that may help you with further evidence. In particular Paragraph {6} clearly states that Sevoc purchased all assets including Rangers Football Club http://www.scotprem....tember 2012.pdf
  6. Ok Ok I get it, feel as If I am getting batter from pillar to post here . I just feel that financial problems aside McCoist will come good as will the new players to the club, feeling a bit sheepish now
  7. Arsenal finished 4th in Premiership last season, used Liverpool because of fans anger with board etc, used Portsmouth as they are in same predicament we are. No other teams in Britain at the moment are in same predicament with exception of lower league English teams such as Plymouth, Darlington. Ok I am taking a bit of a pounding here but was just looking to emphasise the fact that when there is problems in the background of a club problems appear on the park. Gillette, I do take your point which is valid but used them as an example as they have not been able to spend the riches of other Premiership clubs.
  8. nice reply, but the point I am trying to make is that with financial difficulties on a club it must be difficult for managers and backroom staff to continue with results that fans expect on a regular basis, in this instance I personally feel that McCoist is doing reasonably well. In the first part of last season under what we thought was a new ray of light under (Shyte), McCoist had us playing great and opened up a large lead, financial problems really set in in February and we took a dip, now that Financial problems are finally being sorted out (EBT exception) I believe McCoist will get those wins that we crave week in week out
  9. I have taken the time to look into some clubs results from the turn of this year for clubs who have financial difficulties. The clubs I selected were Rangers and Portsmouth for obvious reasons and also Liverpool and Arsenal. Is Ally McCoist's record so bad due to the massive strain on himself and club, bearing in mind we have lost around 25 players since January and certainly not all of them have been replaced; here are the stats Arsenal Played 29 won 16 drew 6 lost 7 Liverpool Played 35 won 14 drew 7 lost 14 Portsmouth Played 32 won 8 Drew 6 lost 18 Rangers Played 27 won 16 drew 5 lost 6 Percentage wise this means Rangers have won 60% of their games Drew 18% and Lost 22% Arsenal have won 55% Drew 21% and lost 24% Liverpool have won 40% drew 20% and lost 40% Portsmouth have Won 25% drew 19% and lost 56% If it was done on points basis Arsenal would be 1 point clear with with two games extra played. In this period all clubs have placed lower league opposition at some point. All stats for competitive matches only. Sure we wish we could be doing better and we will. I would like to see how these stats unfold come end December when there is a year worth of stats. In Ally I trust, we will have a successful season
  10. Favourite has to be my sig, Walter and Chick Dung interview
  11. The most common thing said about all this by the haters is that Rangers were spending beyond their means to win and saying we wouldn't have had the trophies as we could not afford the players....Now here is my point, every single club that has debt has been living beyond their means and have quite obviously signed/paid wages of players that they could not afford (else they would not be in debt). Their argument is invalid
  12. In all the seriousness of this issue, this made me laugh
