From what I understand Raith deserved more from the game. Hibs don't worry me. They've scraped by again. Papering over the cracks is the phrase we used last year. They have far more defensive worries than us. We tore their back line apart at the start of the season and they've only changed it by going 3 at the back with McGregor coming in to help that dumpling Fontaine. If they play like that next week I think Waghorn and McKay will tear them a new one. Another 6 points from these two games and well be out of sight.
His long range passing leaves a lot to be desired. 4 or 5 times last night he gave the ball away by over hitting a long range pass. Other than that he's solid. Ball should be his partner, even after Wilson gets fit.
You can tell the difference now. He actually tries to create chances. That's what was so absent last season. He made some great runs and a few killer passes that the men in front of him did nothing with. Deserves to start on Sunday, as does Holt. Jason Holt is the bargain of the century.
Foderingham Tavernier Kiernan Wilson Wallace Halliday Holt Shiels Oduwa Waghorn McKay 6-0 Rangers EDIT: I can't be bothered fixing the above. They can play wherever they want tbh. Everyone protect Danny Wilson
This is great news. This should help us attract all the best young players in Scotland. For too long we've let teams like Dundee Hibernians & Hamilton rule the roost in terms of youth.
He said something along the lines of this: "We do realise we'll need to significantly invest in the team to compete next season." When talking about competing for the league next year.
Because it's not against Hibs or St Mirren. That's the way people will be thinking. The Hibs & St Mirren games were always going to sell out much faster than any other game.
Don't think we'll get anyone but I'd be delighted to get Ali Crawford & Stevie May (Half so Hibs don't get him and half because I'm worried about injuries).
