Hoping for a win. How depressing is it that im 'hoping' we beat a team like Clyde

Theyve lost Ferdinand Vidic and Evra and replaced them with Shaw whos injured Jones Smalling and Evans who are esentially squad players. LvG should be lookin at players who have done well in the EPL but hea looking at big name signings most of whom probably will get better offers from team able to offer them CL football. Imo he should go for Williams of Swansea whos had a good couple of seasons in the English football and is a marked improvement on what they already have. Assuming he gets players in now they will still take time to gel so why they havent addressed these issues in the last 3 weeks since hes been here is a mystery. Maybe they just dont want to spend the money and are counting on finishing 4th every year ala Arsenal? Even then with this current squad they will struggle to that imo

Brook looked genuinely shocked at hearing the decision going in his favour and tbf second half of the fight he did a great deal of work and was landing the cleaner shots, Porter cant have any complaints that he lost just like Brook couldnt if he'd had lost either. Very close fight imo.

We were all for giving him a chance, we all wanted him to as well as a manager as hed done as a player, however its telling that almost anytime he has come up against full time teams we've almost always looked the poorer team. I dont know if its his training methods or the players arent picking up his phylosophy but somethings broke and hes not capable of fixing it. We have a chance to fix this righ now by him either walking or being shown the door before we come to rue the mistakes that might cost us promotion this year. Before the first game had been played people were saying either Hearts or Hibs would join us in the spl next season, as we were almost a shoe in to get promoted but in all honesty I think we'll be lucky to get a play off place under Ally

Septic dont deserve to go through as they hammered by Legia Warsaw, however theres little chance the appeal will make much difference as the player was suspended as he wasnt registered for the three games he missed. Unfortunately septic will beat Maribor and progress to the group stages but if there is a footballing god they will lose the tie to a dodgy refereeing decision and get papped out!
