I hope he grabs a goal against them on Thursday. That will send the tims into a frenzy.

He done ok last season but I still think he doesn't justify the salary it would take to get him.

I know he has only played a few games for us but it is looking like we have spent our cash wisely on him.

Good result in a game that many of us thought we would struggle in. I was pleased with our performance & I would like us to name as close to the same line up as possible on Thursday. Of course the result from the Celtic game topped off a good day all round.

No. We should be aiming to have a decent run in europre & Celtic's results should be of no significance to us.

We are capable of it however it requires a much improved performance.

It's all very well for him to blame the midfield tonight but he done nothing to change it. We used 1 out of a possible 3 subs when it was clear to most of us that a change was required.

We have not learned our lesson from the Malmo tie. Once again we have shown an average team (at best) far too much respect & paid the price. At half time I said Maribor were there for the taking & we could finish the tie tonight if we went for it. Unfortunately the management team didn't see it the same way as me. No doubt a lot of people will be of the opinion that we needed to bring in better quality players but in regards to this game I don't believe that should have been an issue as the players we have should be running over the top of teams like this. We still have the potential to turn this tie around, especially with an away goal, however I am a little concerned that we will opt to sit in & try to sneak a goal which would be a poor approach.

Delighted to be 1 up however this team are there for the taking. Hopefully we can get at least 1 more & that should be enough to see us through.

I'm feeling optimistic about our chances tonight. I can see us coming back with a 2-0 win.

Another 3 points in the bag in what I thought was a decent performance although we could have been doing with a little more creativity in the final third. The backline done pretty well considering the number of changes we made there however they werent under too much pressure but they did put in a significantly better performance than the officials.

Good to see Ness back. That should be a strong enough team to take the points although it's never easy up there.

We made life extremely hard for ourselves tonight & the 9 men who finished the game deserve a lot of credit as they worked exremely hard & I think we were a bit unlucky not to pick up the win. The lack of champions league football is a major disappointment but we need to bounce back from this quick otherwise it could be a long season.

Good 1st half performance under the circumstances. Still a big performance required in the 2nd half.

He has impressed me since his arrival. He was one of the few players who performed to an acceptable level against Malmo & he done well again today. Hi ball in for Naismiths goal was the sort of quality we have been missing.

Strolled through the game today although St Johnstone barely threatened. I'm hopeful this will turn out to be money well spent.

It's been a better performance than our last 2 games. Hopefully we will get a 2 goal & confidence well build from there.
