  1. Oh, what paranoia, that post was very timmy like, you're not seriously suggestion the whole of the Scottish press are tims and Rangers haters are you ?
  2. "sell the cunt" , I never put it quite like that but I did want him gone, especially at a time when he looked like he was never going to be fully fit and taking wages every week.
  3. Wasn't born when Durrant was playing and wasn't really that into football when Mols was playing, but Naismith, even when fit, was unable to do the simple things for about 3 seasons and that's why people were happy for him to be let go, we're just lucky Smith has patience and a good eye for talent.
  4. What ? he was hopeless for about 3 seasons, I don't think you can blame anybody for wanting him sold at that time.
  5. Where did you hear he was a Sunderland fan ? I heard he was a Man United one not that long ago.
  6. I would never want that arrogant tosser as manager.
  7. Love the wee man but am I the only that thinks this is a bit risky ? signing him up on a long term deal with higher wages for a good 1st half to the season instead of our main goal scorer ?
  8. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger cited the Old Trafford pitch as one of the reasons why his side underperformed in their 1-0 defeat by Manchester United. "The intensity was high but it was a very bad pitch," said the Frenchman. "The technical quality suffered as a result and that's why you saw mistakes from both sides." Ji-Sung Park scored the only goal of the game which ensured United leapfrog the Gunners at the top of the Premier League table. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's side now have a two-point cushion over Arsenal and Manchester City as well as a game in hand. Their next league fixture is at Chelsea where they will have the opportunity to put a six-point gap between themselves and the Blues. "Sunday is a massive game," said Ferguson. "That will go a long way to establishing what happens at the top of the league. "We are 16 games undefeated. Now we have to make it 17." Wenger, meanwhile, was unhappy with the playing surface in Manchester but the praised the opposition backline for frustrating Arsenal's attack. "If I ask you do you want a good pitch or a bad one, what do you say?" he added. "They made technical mistakes as well because the pitch is not good enough to play good football. It is bouncy and slippery. "Overall, you have to give credit to United's defensive quality. "We tried everything to create chances. I thought we were unlucky to lose the game, but we have to take encouragement from tonight's performance." Wenger, whose team have not beaten title challengers United or Chelsea in 11 encounters said he was not worried by his side's form against their rivals. "Calm down," he insisted. "You have to be realistic and objective and not necessarily reach big conclusions. I am here to analyse one game. "It is a big frustration and disappointment but I don't know how big a blow it is to our title chances," he stated. "What is important is that we bounce back in our next game [at home to Stoke on Saturday]. "Overall, on what I have seen there is no reason not to believe. "We know we can play better offensively and actually, we looked quite solid." Ji-Sung Park scored what proved to be the winner in the first half, with a header from Nani's deflected cross. United could have enjoyed a more comfortable victory had Wayne Rooney not fired his penalty high and wide of the Arsenal goal, after the Gunners full-back Gael Clichy was deemed to have illegally handled. Park's record against Arsenal is very good - he is in fantastic form United manager Sir Alex Ferguson Ferguson was left bemused by his striker's effort. "It was an unusual penalty, normally Wayne always keeps them down, I've never known him to hit one over," he added. Ferguson also paid tribute to Park, who scored for the fourth time against the Gunners. "Park's record against Arsenal is very good, he is in fantastic form. "Unfortunately we're going to lose him to the Asia Cup for seven matches, which is disappointing." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/9283860.stm
  9. Last season, about this time, we had a great run in the league and were absolutely banging in the goals, the team needs a slap in the face, some of the stuff we saw on Saturday was embarrassing and pathetic, its no secret that our players are getting pissed off with the shite we're seeing as well, if half the team had the passion and consistency of Alan McGregor we would look like world beaters in this league, some should really look at him as an example and get their fingers out.
  10. He's not the best midfielder in the world but he's doing a good job, it absolutely baffles me that he is always the first one to get criticised when Rangers are pish, and when Weiss or Davis get criticised its always the same fanny's coming back with "what about Lee", some of the supporters on here are just jumping on the bandwagon though, they see someone saying Lee is pish and they decide to hit out with the same stuff, followers rather than think for themselves. Its unbelievable that some "supporters" start calling Big Lee names like "prick" and "wanker" because they don't rate him, theirs something seriously wrong with out support if they start that kind of abuse at their own players purely because they don't rate him, and some seriously consider our support the best in the world are we fuck.
  11. How is Lee a wanker ? because you don't rate him ? Tosser.
  12. Where would Kenny go ? realistically who would take him ? he's a championship player at best.
  13. McCulloch isn't the best option for a defensive midfielder, but he's good enough for me and good enough for our present team IMO, if I'm being honest, if we had money then I don't think anybody who's a first team regular right now, bar McGregor and Miller would be getting in the team over what we could buy with a bit of cash.
  14. I literally fell asleep watching this game, good to see Arsenal getting beat again though
  15. I never said it all comes down to passing, but if he's as good as some love to think then his passing should be miles better than a player who gets so much stuck on here for being "shite".
  16. Well admittedly appauling wasn't the right word but for the amount of shite McCulloch gets on here when his passing is just as good, if not better than Davis who is apparently "the best player in Scotland" seems a bit daft.
  17. This thread went down the pan ages ago.
  18. Don't know about that, he gets questioned after every game nearly.
  19. Its pathetic that you have to make up lies to get your point across.
