  1. Feel free to rip it apart but the gaffer needs a song 🤣 The man from Merseyside to the King of Ibrox Park The man from Merseyside to the King of Ibrox Park The man from Merseyside to the King of Ibrox Park, and the league flag's coming home. And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm. And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm, and the league flag's coming home. Well he'll lead us on to battle on the European front. He'll lead us on to battle on the European Front. He'll lead us on to battle on the European front but the league flag's coming home And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm. And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm And we'll be alright, with Gerrard at the helm, and the league flag's coming home.

  3. There were Scottish Presbyterians within the walls and Highlanders outside among others. This myth that people like to spout about the Siege of Londonderry and other battles in Ireland having nothing to do with Scotland is bullshit. We are within our rights as a support to sing about our ancestors defence of the city.

  6. It does feel at times like nothing is practised in training but I think he will end up like Danny Wilson if he jumps too early.
  7. Apparently he was on trial with Fulham during the season and I would like to think that him being a bear, we would be his choice of teams if we were interested. Too many players motivated by money nowadays sadly.
  8. BABY-FACED assassin Jordan Allan spent Saturday becoming the youngest player ever to appear in a Scottish senior game – before hitting Alloa for six yesterday. The Airdrie kid wrote his name into the record books aged just 14 and 199 days with a seven-minute cameo against Livingston. But 24 hours later, Allan was running riot for the Diamonds’ Under-15 side in a 9-3 rout at Recreation Park. Airdrie assistant boss Alan Lawrence was thrilled to watch his striking protege beat keeper Ronnie Simpson’s war-time record, which he set while at Queen’s Park, by 115 days. And he believes the Calderside Academy schoolboy can live up to his label as the new Tony Watt. He said: “The last player Airdrie had who you could compare Jordan to would be Tony Watt who left us a few years ago to move to Celtic. But he was 17 years old by then and was bigger and stronger. “If Jordan keeps progressing as he has been then he could be on the same route as Tony. I have no doubt about that. “The boss, Jimmy Boyle, and myself spoke last Thursday night about including Jordan against Livingston. I just said, ‘Why not?’ “It’s the right time of the season and there was nothing at stake for us so it was the chance to give another young boy an opportunity. “At his own level his finishing ability is phenomenal – he just has the knack. “He has a lot to learn which you would expect from a 14-year-old but he has all the attributes to go the whole way. “I took him aside before the game and said, ‘Well done for getting in and I hope we can get you on the pitch at some point’. “But before we could do that one of our defenders told us he was injured and we were two down and didn’t want to lose any more goals. “The gaffer looked at me and said he was going to put him on as Jordan had been sitting there the whole game with his hopes built up. We told him to be confident, work hard and he’d be fine. “He didn’t look out of place apart from the fact he only looked about 12 years old.” Lawrence takes charge of finishing school for the young Airdrie strikers and he’s convinced Rangers fan Allan has all the attributes to emulate former Light Blues favourite Nacho Novo who he’s been nicknamed after. The Airdrie chief added: “Jordan is a natural finisher. “I have been taking him for shooting sessions and we have been working on his angles and to try to develop his game and get him using his weaker foot. “His nickname is Nacho and I believe he’s a Rangers fan. He’s a quiet, level-headed lad, not like some of the dafties you get at his age as he acts ahead of his time. “I could never have imagined a kid of 14 could playing in a senior game. We have a young player called Chris O’Neil who has just turned 17 and he is our Young Player of the Year. “You look at him and have great admiration he’s coping at first-team level at that age so to have Jordan involved at his age is incredible.” Allan has already been on trial at Fulham this season and scored twice in a game against Chelsea and his Diamonds Under-15 coach, Liam Brindle, says the youngster’s goal ratio is breathtaking. He said: “We are delighted for Jordan, he’s taking it in his stride. He was back with us on Sunday and scored six goals at Alloa. “His tally for the season is now at the 90 mark and he’s adapted well to playing for the reserve side. In his first game he scored six against Dumbarton and followed that with seven against Dunfermline. “He’s earned his opportunity and hopefully he’ll get more chances in the first team.”

  10. Are you the guy from FF who sent the player list to Gordon Smith?
  11. On twitter a few people are saying he is having a medical later apparently but it's all rumours just now. Wouldn't be surprised if we were not in for him.
  12. I can't see Ibrox being in Fifa this year . Juventus is the only confirmed stadium so far but Vancouver Whitecaps' stadium is meant to be the other which leaves one space and they will probably give it to Man City. I remember the developers saying a while back that they would be improving the rival atmospheres in matches so maybe the video was just showing what rivals they would have worked on.
  13. From FIFASoccerBlog: Career Mode Visuals: Visually things are pretty similar but the whole front end has been nicely polished. The calendar for advancing matches now embeds in the main screen allowing you to track news and events while the game progresses. You can also halt the advancement at any time if you want to stop and read an article or deal with a transfer deal. There are new colour coded calendar items for league, cup, friendly and European matches too. Scouting: Yes, scouting is finally back in Career Mode but only for youth players players. You can hire up to three scouts and send them to different regions around for a duration of your choice. The scouts themselves vary in quality with the best scouts demanding the most cash. To get accurate data on the quality of the youth prospects in a region you may need to scout multiple times, however if you wait too long a rival club could step in and sign the player youre after. Youth Academy: And once youve scouted your young prospects and decided to sign them they get added to your Youth Academy. From here you can track their development and when the time is right either move the players in to your first team squad or realise you made a terrible mistake and send them packing. Player Stories: Throughout the season players will now approach the manager voicing their concerns or happiness at certain decisions. The topics range from injury worries, lack of game time, unhappy about a new signings, being played out of position, morale, retirement and many, many more. How you deal with these issues is entirely down to the manager. Transfer Deadline Day: Is now a fully fledged feature of its own in Career Mode and on transfer deadline day the game advances hour by hour to allow you to wheel and deal before the window slams shut. You also have the option to stall transfer deals to allow your self more time to decide between multiple targets. Form and Morale: Are both back and will need to be delicately managed over the course of the season. These two features plugin to the Player Stories system where players will become and unhappy for any number of reasons. Player Growth: Is allegedly fixed, but wed need to play for multiple seasons to confirm this. However one very positive example came up when playing a Career Mode as Southampton. Just 3 games in to the season Alex Oxlaide Chamberlain recieved a substantial amount of growth receiving around 10 stats improvements. Most were just +1 but there were a few, +2 and +3 upgrades too. Which when compared to FIFA 11′s +1 growth for an entire season is surely a good sign. Alex is a player who youd expect to have fairly rapid growth too so the scenario seemed to fit well. This post covers the Career Mode features we saw six weeks ago but well bring you an updated post with impressions as soon as were back from the Guildford play test.
  14. Youth Academy is in the game from the new screenshots released
